Statement on The Coalition of Democratic Nations Embassy Closure
The North Pacific has always put itself at the fore in the fight against bigotry and intolerance within NationStates and as such, we show zero tolerance to this when it comes to regions that we have embassies with. Recently, we have been made aware of a series of concerning messages and actions taken by moderators and government members of The Coalition of Democratic Nations. Many of these comments were xenophobic and derogatory, and as such we cannot turn a blind eye and allow this to continue without action.
Effective immediately, we are closing our in-game embassy. No forum embassy or ambassador exchange occurred so no action is needed.
Going forward, we would also like to emphasize the importance of calling out this bigotry wherever we find it and not hesitate to take strong action as we continue to stamp out this behavior.
