Ministry of WA Affairs Card Rewards​

Note: For the moment, this program is largely unofficial. For the time being, consider it more of a thank-you gift to all the hardworking staffers that help this Ministry run.
Thanks to the support of @DGES, I am pleased to announce the first ever card rewards sort-of program for the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs. This is intended to build on the success of Home Affairs' cards program and incentivize core contributions to this Ministry's operations. Needless to say, active and committed staffers can expect plenty of free cards.

As you may know, the Ministry of Cards is currently working with the rest of the executive government to develop an inter-ministry cards program with a unified points system. This WAA rewards program will serve as an unofficial bridge to that system while it's still being developed. As such, this program is temporary and subject to change.

A new feature we're trying out here is one-time rewards targeted at new staffers. Each one-time contribution will award one or more epics, with a legendary reward for completing all one-time tasks. Staffers can complete these one-time tasks in any order they choose (exact rewards subject to tweaking as time goes on):
  • Voting in three voting threads - 1 epic
  • Posting a substantive argument in three voting threads - 2 epics
  • Opening a voting thread - 2 epics
  • Substantively contributing to someone else's IFV draft - 1 epic
  • Writing an IFV - 2 epics
  • Completing all of the above - 1 legendary (plus the previous 8 epics)
After a staffer completes all of the one-time tasks, they become eligible for monthly rewards on a continuous basis (these monthly tasks come as a set- unfinished tasks can be completed the next month to get the bonus legendary):
  • Voting on at least 75% of the threads in a given month - 1 epic
  • Posting a substantive argument in at least 75% of the threads in a given month - 1 legendary
  • Writing an IFV (one per month) - 2 epics
  • Substantively contributing to at least 3 IFVs in a month - 3 epics
  • Opening a voting thread (one per month) - 2 epics
  • Completing all of the above - 1 legendary (plus the previous 8 epics and 1 legendary)
Completing all one-time tasks makes you eligible for monthly rewards beginning with the next month (so completing all one-time tasks in January allows you to start earning monthly rewards starting from February). Additional tasks and rewards are a significant possibility if this program shows promise. Deputy Ministers and similar obviously won't be getting rewards above regular staffers (we want to keep this fair, after all). Only WA Affairs staffers are eligible to participate in this program. If you'd like to earn some extra cards, I highly encourage applying for the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs!
