Are you on Discord frequently? Do you love greeting newcomers to The North Pacific and answering their questions? Are you passionate about helping new players get acclimated to the region, and would like to do so in an official capacity as a member of Home Affairs? If that's the case, consider signing up to be a participant in HA's newest mentoring program, the Welcome Wagon! Essentially, we are starting a trial run of a new program that will be run similarly to Gameside Advocates, only this program will be focused on greeting and assisting newcomers on Discord.
Members who sign up to be part of the Welcome Wagon will primarily be tasked with greeting newcomers who join our TNP Discord server. The Welcome Wagon will serve as a first welcome and source of information for new players, and will work to cultivate a friendly and inclusive culture on our Discord server. Members of the Welcome Wagon will be not only greeters but will serve as a kind of mentor as well, helping newcomers gather their bearings and take their first steps to establish themselves in the region (via registering on the forum, applying for citizenship, joining the Executive Staff, and so on).
