The Palais: (Pal-aye-is)

This is the place where the Royal Family and important ministers (all of which will be most likely listed in this thread soon) live, and where most governmental stuff takes place. (This is basically equivalent to the White House irl). It is located in the capital city called Denburg in the province of Farrun. It was built in the year 1754 by the Den Royal Family, and is currently going under major renovations to modernize the interior of it.

Bio:
He rose to power 5 years ago when his father passed away suddenly. The future is his to decide. He is Bisexual, and really charming. He wants to strengthen and modernize Faltsu since its current technology is at about the 1990s military-wise. He seeks to keep the power of the monarchy, while also keeping and maybe even adding to the civil liberties and rights of the people. Because his mother died shortly after birth, he had a surrogate mother. Although, he doesn't have too much memory of her. He mainly has memories of the many servants that worked at the Palais. As a result of this, he has high respect for the servants in the Palais. His mother (Rose) had a cheating scandal, but nothing really came of it. Although, whispers arise as he looks almost nothing like his father. More in depth history/bio of this character and his past family will be coming soon!

Spoiler: Miscellaneous Things

He uses this cane whenever he walks long distances that aren’t just around the Palais. He needs it because of a Haglund's deformity in his left ankle that he had surgery on when he was 10. The surgery messed up his Achilles’ tendon in there, and they didn’t know about it until he tore it while playing sports 6 years later. By then they couldn’t really do anything about it, so he’s needed to use a cane ever since. The fact that it is a sword cane is a classified secret. He uses it in his right hand.

He wears this wedding ring:

Xel wears this ring in place of a crown because he likes it better and thinks it is more modern/progressive. This ring costs 60,000 Faltsish Credits (¢), and he wears it on his left thumb.

Jupiter Q2:

This is Xel’s personal phone. He compromises on nothing by having the benefits of a smaller phone, and a larger screen. It fits in his pocket easy since it is a lot smaller when flipped.

Rolux K900:

Made by Rolux Motore, this vehicle is one of Xel’s armored limos. The Rolux K900 is his go-to vehicle when he is traveling anywhere alone, or with one other person. It has steel wheels, run-flat tires, and an upgraded 3.7L hybrid 5-cylinder engine producing 393hp to keep up with the extra weight. He has 3 of these that cost 250,000¢ each. The PM and other important peoples listed here can also use these.

Made by Rolux Motore, this vehicle is one of Xel’s armored limos. The Rolux K1100 is his go-to vehicle when he is traveling anywhere with others. It has steel wheels, run-flat tires, and an upgraded 5.1L all-electric engine producing 530hp to keep up with the extra weight. This vehicle costs 450,000¢. The Prime Minister is the only other person listed here that can use this without Xel being there.

She is currently engaged to King Xel Den. She has a bachelors degree in Political Science, and is thinking about going back for her Master’s degree. Her hair only goes down to just a few inches below the shoulder, and doesn’t have that weird tuft thing sticking up at the top. *more coming soon!*

Bio:

She is usually happy, but she can get annoyed easily if something is nagging at her. Her first name used to be Lucy, but she changed it legally to Lucian. Xel will call her Lucy on occasion to mess with her.

Bio: This is Xel’s father. He passed away unexpectedly in his sleep due to natural causes. He also gave away some power of the monarchy to the Republican Party. Because of this, he is viewed as weak by Xel, and other higher ups within the Monarchist Party.

Bio: This is Xel’s mother. She died shortly after Xel's birth from complications with it, so she was never really apart of his life. There are talks of her possibly cheating on Julien with a servant, but those were never confirmed as the servant in questions died shortly after her death. He had a surrogate mother in her place.


Braun Schlausenweiger

Bio: Braun Schlausenweiger (formally known as Dr. Schlausenweiger), was a Faltsish philosopher and astronomer in the mid 18th to early 19th century. He was born in 1756 and he passed away in 1832. His rise to fame came in 1780 when he attended the International Study in Saintonge with several other world-renowned astronomers whose goal was to find the Prime Meridian on Eras. This put Faltsu on the world stage for a few years, which made him even more respected back home.

POLITICAL PARTIES OF FALTSU:



Nei Monarchei:

This party was born after Xel took power. It is a reformed version of Julien’s monarchist party that includes more democratic things to gather more support from the people. This has worked in Xel's favor as party popularity has increased since the 2015 elections.

Agraruniounspartei:

The Agraruniounspartei (Agrarian Union Party) is a Social Democratic Party focused on agricultural and environmental issues. They have been historically pro-monarchy, and continue to be pro-monarchy to this day because of Xel's willingness to work with them.


Fräiheet-Republikanesch Partei:

The Fräiheet-Republikanesch Partei (Liberty-Republican Party) is a Republican Party in Faltsu. They mainly focus on the rights and liberties of the common folk, with strong interests of keeping market capitalism safe. They merged with the Fräiheet Partei (Liberty Party) in 1946, when they both split the Republican vote the 1945 election, which lead to them not getting many seats in parliament. This merge wasn’t all good however. This is because the party still deals with infighting to this day. This is particularly from the more radical libertarians that wish to abolish the monarchy completely and create a confederation, and the more moderate republicans that wish for a constitutional monarchy that is stripped of some of its powers. After the losing popularity due to Xel being very popular among the people, the party now has a new role of keeping the new Monarch-Agrari political “alliance” in check. While they can agree with the Agraris a decent bit, they do have major differences, especially regarding economic policies.

Workers and National Kinsmen:

The Workers and National Kinsmen (WNK) is an AnCom party that has about 99k members nationwide, mostly centered in the Isles of Farrun. The party started in the year 1923 when the Kommunistesch Partei (Communist Party) and the Gratis Syndikalistesch Partei (Free Syndicalist Party) merged to have a better chance at winning seats in the parliament. They never actually won more than a few seats, as they we’re always just a minor fourth party.
