Hello all. First order of business should probably be to choose a Chief Justice (I am interested in staying on).
Other fairly urgent business includes the pending decision on the Kirina ban review, on which I would be grateful for your opinion, Wonderess, and the review on the Delegate’s oath.
Less urgent are the Rules amendments that are up before the Assembly and the criminal Rlies amendments yet to complete drafting; the changes to the r4r form and adoption of other forms; and decisions about the AG’s records. Other longstanding issues are an ordered repository of decisions and fresh review of the THOs. Something I want to give some thought to is perhaps introducing a more formal means of qualifying court appointed defence counsel, so that it is less of an ad hoc decision each time.
