Thoughts?

It seems these issues are getting out of hand with comedy. Any opinions? My opinion: NS Issue makers should be more... serious, like the international incidents. Now your thoughts about this. I don't mean to sound like a teacher, but I humbly request you reply with your opinion about NS issues.

I am of two minds of them. On one hand, I'd like to see how my decisions would actually affect a simulation. On the other hand, it is humorous to see unintended effects of my decisions. I don't really mind the status quo.

Having written 3 issues and drafted many more, I can say that there is a fine balance between humour and real credible issue content. The best mix, I believe, is a proper issue with practical consequences, but with clever wit and subtle jokes used throughout. Issues are perfected in the details, most often not noticed by the reader, but still there for someone to pick up on and have a laugh at.
