Correspondence from the Department of Foreign Relations and Trade in Mondari
To our friends in the Imperial Federation of Cimmeria. I am writing to you on behalf of the Mondic Congress and the Mondic Department of Defense. With the Midland Hydra reaching nearly thirty years in service, we have been in search of a more modern replacement for it. Sudo has taken notice of the technological prowess of the Rieselfeldstadt Griffin A and the capabilities it has shown that it holds. Therefore, we come to you with a proposal to purchase a large order of the Rieselfeldstadt Griffin A over time. Sudo's proposal is thus: the purchase of three hundred and seventy-eight Rieselfeldstadt Griffin A in equal quantities over eight years. We are proposing a cost of 29,446,200,000 IBU/33,863,130,000 RM spread out to 3,680,775,000 IBU/4,232,891,250 RM each year. We are also looking for a renewable license to purchase parts and perform repairs on the Rieselfeldstadt Griffin A. This agreement would be a very large investment that we believe can bring our nations closer together and lead the way for further cooperation. We hope for your agreement on this proposal.
Anthony Brooks
Secretary of Foreign Relations and Trade in the RM
Official statement from the Minister of Foreign Affairs concerning the procurement proposal.:
OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
2 January 2020
To Anthony Brooks, Secretary of Foreign Relations and Trade,
I’m writing this on behalf of His Imperial Majesty’s Government. The Rieselfeldstadt Griffin A is indeed a capable aircraft, having been in service in the armed forces since 2013. Although plagued with issues that first hindered its development, they have since been corrected and its capabilities have only improved over the years. Furthermore, our nations have grown to co-operate with each other in recent times. This proposal will allow for the continuation of that co-operation. His Imperial Majesty’s Government will therefore agree to the proposal set forth. We hope that our nations will continue to work together to achieve our goals in the future.
Signed,
The Right Honourable Sir Frederich Hildebrandt Schachtschneider von Pourtalès Minister of Foreign Affairs
HICM Government
