Introduction
People's Republic of Poafmeria (PRPF) is home to approximately 400 million people, the nation dreams of achieving the impossible. From banning automobiles to a low Gini coefficient, PRPF aims to become the shining beacon of the world. People in PRPF tend to have very conservative views of things, and as compared to other people around the multiverse, might have very different thinking methods and opinions on issue.

However, the Honorable Sochra helped to defend our nation from foreign influence, and steered the nation to become a nation which others want to make friends with.
The nation's experiment with democracy is not smooth sailing, and this has always been something that was recorded in our history books. Between 3760 and 3845, the country was led by Chief Minister Hindrahsa Codagre, who was the country's longest serving leader of over 85 years. However, Mr Codagre was increasingly power hungry, and he created laws that allowed the Chief Minister (now our President) huge powers. During his rule, despite the improvement in our economy, it was always remembered as "a dark time for democracy" because of how he had destroyed the system of giving people a voice. It was not until 3845 before Mr Codagre's government was toppled and replaced with a grand coalition of parties, such as the Kibi Party, the Congress Party, the Bijara Party, and the Socialist Party. This marked the start of an era of change of Poafmeria, and helped to restore the country's democracy. As a result, the country now has many laws that ensures that the Ridimag does not hold as much power as before, with the Podimag and the Hebisti (the Local Assembly) getting rights to control their respective towns and regions. De-centralised power thus became a unique feature of Poafneria.
Government and Politics
The PRPF is a representative democracy, where parties are given seats in the Ridimag (the General Assembly) based on vote share and not by any form of first-past-the-post system. The Ridimag meets to discuss issues that matters the entire nation, including the country's foreign relations as well as passing legislation that have been put up in the World Assembly. The election of the Ridimag is held once every 8 years (as compared to 4 for the State Assemblies - the Podimag), with the next Ridimag election due in 4040. The last election in 4032 was won by the Kibi Party for the 8th consecutive election, led by the incumbent President Pikashru Nakisan.
President Nakisan, who is 54 this year, is the son of the former President Nakara Nakisan, and a member of the Nakisan family, which has been a key part of the nation's politics. The Kibi Party, of which he is a member, was founded in 3804.

By a referendum in 3861, the people have chosen to give up many of their civil rights in exchange for societal stability, as well as the freedom to enjoy various benefits such as universal health care. As a result, many foreigners who visit PRPF consistantly view the nation as a form of dictatorship where civil rights are oppressed, whereas the citizens are very happy with the current arrangement and do not fret about losing these rights. The people openly praise the use of cameras around the nation, the implementation of laws forbidding drug usage, as well as the recent ban on automobiles. Many people, however, mistaken our society as being backward, and that clearly is a misunderstanding. The nation is very open to discussion of sensitive topics such as being a member of the LGBTQ+ community. The government recognizes this, and chose to take a neutral stance in the discussion of such issues.
Poafmeria is home to more than 15 ethnic communities, and prides itself on being multi-religious and multi-racial.
