From on the exploration Airship, the Zurdel Rek, several lookouts report seeing smoke clouds in the distance. reporting this to their captain they were then ordered to find the source of the smoke and assist those who seemed to be in trouble.
Hilo was a officer aboard the Zurdel Rek. Their ship had suddenly turned west and was going toward a large land mass, which when see looked closer there was a large amount of smoke on the island. Enough smoke to be considered either a rampaging fire or a raid. Suddenly the speaker above her cracked to life and the following was said, "ATTENTION ALL CREW MEMBERS, This is your captain speaking. Our lookouts have reported seeing a large amount of smoke on the land mass that was once known as Indonesia. We are going to investigate. Get to your battle stations, I repeat, all crew members report to your battle stations and prepare for battle". Hilo, instantly knowing where to go, went to the frontal battery.
Coming to the scene of the smoke the lookouts reported that a battle was currently taking place outside a city, it looks like that the group attacking the city was larger and seemed to be trying to capture the city, and perhaps raze it. The captain thought for a minute, but quickly tossed his thoughts aside. He told his crew members to aim at the attacking force and prepare for a full scale barrage of the forces behind the front line. He also called for back-up. Fortunately there was a military patrol no more than an hour away, and they responded to the call and said they'd be there as soon as possible. A crew member came into the bridge and told the captain that the batteries were loaded and ready to fire. The captain smiled, he ordered the crew to get the communication speaker online. He was about to send a message, followed by a barrage.
On the ground where the battle was taking place a loud voice came from above, it spoke an unknown language and went as follows. "¡Hola! Somos la nave Zurdel Rek y vemos que puede necesitar ayuda. The captain watched these events happen from in the airship, he smiled. He asked the targeteers if all shells had hit their targets and the forces defending the city were unharmed. The targeteers responded saying that they barrage was a success and all shots had hit the attacking forces, with not a single shell dropping on the defending force. He smiled, "Empty the clips!" he yelled and he felt his airship buckle from the amount of pure force being exerted from the batteries. The rocking stopped when the batteries had run out of their current clip. "Reload the batteries, but don't fire until I say so.". He felt the ship rise a couple feet as large clips were ex-pulsed from the ship down toward the ground, these were also planned, they would fall upon an empty part of the ground where no forces occupied. A crew member came up to the captain saying that the attacking forces had started to retreat. The captain smiled, this was a success. No attacking force can continue a charge after 10% of their forces were wiped out, he checked his watch, another 4 minutes before they were able to fire again. He ordered his crew to prepare to set down the airship and get the auto-doctors ready for treatment. They had work to do.
