An Apology regarding SSL

Yesterday, the SSL certificate (the thing that the lets the forum URL start with "https" and lets the browser show a lock icon next to it) expired. I didn't renew it until a few minutes ago this morning (Eastern time).

I'm sorry for the dozen or so hours the forum wasn't properly accessible.

I had received a reminder about renewing the certificate, but forgot to convert that into a todo item in my todo list or even just do it immediately, so I inconvenienced all of you for a number of hours. For that, also, I'm sorry, and will endeavor to make sure that this does not happen again.
