Introduction

In 2017, we changed history with Azul and Azul Pro, a project known internally as Project Blue. Last year was the year of connected devices with the Amica Consortium and Project Gemini. We launched a record number of products in a single year, from the RioWave to the powerful AzulElite, evolving the existing brands in a multitude of ways. This year, our focus shifts to the greater effort, connecting our world through technology. While we are announcing our third generation of phones, this is the year Thomas defines itself as an industry leader in technology, one committed to changing the world, one Azul at a time. It is our pleasure to announce the next generation of operating system, AzulOS Horizon.

AzulOS Horizon

One complaint that has always been said about tech companies is that the devices are deemed obsolete prior to the lifespan of the device. We are committed to providing security updates to phones up to four years, tablets up to six years, and professional computers up to ten years! Every device we’ve announced since the original Azul will be eligible for AzulOS Horizon, which is the fastest and most power-efficient software we have ever produced. We will share more about its initial rollout and features at our developer conference in a few weeks.

Azul Legacy Software Program

While it is great for all of the devices to get the latest software, it is also detrimental to the onboard processor to continuously pack the newest features onto it. This is why it’s important to move Azul devices from the software upgrade lineup into the legacy software lineup. While these devices won’t receive new major software upgrades, they will continue to be upgraded for bug and security fixes and be continuously inspected by a dedicated team to make sure they are running the best version of the software to optimize the processor. While all of our devices are too young to be added to this year’s program, Azul, Azul Pro, and Azul S will become the first devices added in early 2020.

The Grand Reveal

This year, we are announcing two third-generation Azul devices, Azul 3 and Azul 3 Pro. These smartphones are exponentially more powerful than their predecessors, and by far the most powerful Azul phones we’ve ever produced. While remaining very similar in design to the Azul 2 series, our in-house chip has pushed the limits of what this shell can accomplish. They will be available to preorder starting today, and be released on March 29th.

The End of An Era

Two years in a row, we have produced three Azul phones, the Azul, Azul Pro, and Azul S. The two devices announced will be our only Azul phones this year, and the Azul 2S was the last S-series phone we will make. In short, we have decided to reshuffle the lineup, and will be making future changes to adjust former Azul S users into the Azul lineup or our super-affordable Rio lineup. All fall releases that were dedicated to the Azul S will be focused on the Rio series of phones and our other Azul products. Both Azul S and Azul 2S will be supported for four years past their release date, as previously mentioned.

Corporate Restructuring (Again)

We have sadly lost the head of Ren, Josh Douglas, to the banking agency, Veranto, where he will serve as a technical advisor. With no clear successor, we searched within our executive team to find someone to be Ren’s new CEO. We have decided that there is no better option than Dr. Hachiro Yamasaki to become Chief Executive Officer of Ren. Marcel Gauthier will continue to serve as Studio Director of Azulrai, but will additionally serve as Senior Vice President in the event that Yamasaki has to leave his post.

Project Fulcrum

We love to keep our fans continuously excited about the next big thing. Next year, we’re excited to revolutionize the industry again like we did for the original Azul. We will be announcing three new Azul devices next spring, but one will be a brand new product line, one we are calling Project Fulcrum. While we want to save most of our secrets, we do want to establish Fulcrum’s place in our lineup. It will be positioned between our Azul phone and Azulscape product lines to be the one device our consumers need, no matter where or how they work. 2020 will be an excited year for Thomas and Project Fulcrum.

Horizon City

Today we’re excited to announce that Horizon City is beginning applications for Phase One of construction. This includes the first neighborhood, Dawn Springs. Please visit our website for more information on Horizon City and the application process. We will be discussing the city and other devices related to the city at an event on March 24th.

Our Vision

Horizon City is a multi-year project destined to become a model city of the future and showcase the interactions that are possible when the best of technology is built together from the core. A city where people of all walks of life are welcome and developments are continuously made for the benefit of its citizens.

Leadership

Horizon City will be run by the Governor of Aeaea, a citizen-elected leader who will represent the interests of the entire city. Given the small number of first wave citizens, Ryo Koizumi will continue to operate the city through the final stages of construction. Being an employee of Thomas, she sees the vision of the city, and will see to it that the final product nears perfection. When all waves are complete, an election will be called for the first elected Governor of Aeaea.

A Network Like No Other

We recently completed our fourth acquisition, the largest mobile carrier of Demescia and also an Internet Service Provider, Lumigaj. Utilizing its expertise and the cellular towers of Virizion, we have created a connected city like no other. Our Horizon Cloud Data Center, housed in Thomas Park, will be able to run millions of operations a day in order to keep the city running as smoothly as possible. With Virizion cellular towers scattered all over the city, you will always be connected when you need it most.

HorizonPod and HorizonPad

Forget living in an apartment or home. In Horizon City, neither of those exist. Instead of an apartment, we have luxurious HorizonPods, which are spacious living spaces where you and roommates can enjoy the connected home experience. These will be offered in one bedroom, two bedroom, and three bedroom configurations starting at 1,000 Meten. Instead of a house, you can get a HorizonPad, which is the perfect way to stake your claim in the growing city. These will have a wide variety of options to fit a number of lifestyles, though they will be a premium and one-of-a-kind product.

Horizon Nexus

We’ve been working around the clock with one of our strongest partners, the Brenna-based car manufacturer, Tundra Motors. Today we’re announcing that Project Nexus is Horizon Nexus. Specifically, the first cars will be a coupe, the Nexus Sport, a pickup truck, the Nexus Heavy, and a smaller Nexus Mini. The prices will be 50,000 Meten, 75,000 Meten, and 35,000 Meten respectively for the base models of each car. Preorder open today, and they will begin shipping in four to six weeks.

Paying Never Was Easier

It is super unfortunate when you forget your card at home and need to buy dinner, or the latest shoes, or even pay for your docter’s visit. We’re introducing Horizon Wallet, your one stop shop for all of your cards. Because of our close relationship with our partners, you can use any of your cards digitally and will be accepted at every Horizon City location. We’re in discussions now with Guslantis to begin ID integration so that you’ll never need to bring your physical wallet again. Unless of course you like that.

Grand Opening

We plan to open Horizon City’s first phase in just a couple of months. On May 20th, we will be accepting our first phase residents to the city to inspect their chosen homes. The grand opening of the city will be May 24th. On that day, we will be hosting a ceremony in front of Horizon Tower and the Alicia K. Burns Research Center. We’re so excited to have you all!

One Last Thing

We have one more thing before you go, and that’s about Ren’s most exciting product yet. This fall, we’re releasing our first game console, Azulrai. Today we’re proud to announce our first launch title is Guslantis Gladiators: World Tour. Featuring many of the nations on Eras, you’ll have loads of fun being the best gladiator you can. So while we still have a ways to go, this will be an exciting addition to the team.

Today we are proud to announce Thomas’ 2019 Board of Directors:

Rachana Tamboli
Dean of Arts and Sciences at the Boreaux Academy

No other academy has the prestige and excellence as the Boreaux Academy in Miragea. Here, Ms. Tamboli serves as the Dean of Arts and Sciences, the most important position after the headmasters. Born in Attarahanda, she’s worked in many educational roles and understands how building relationships is key to a company’s success. Her expertise in this makes her fit to serve Thomas’ board, and we are proud to have her.

Silas Michel
CEO of Virizion Wireless

Augoustopolis, the place Michel calls home, is full of competition and only the strongest survive. He’s worked for numerous cellular providers, but none have been as successful as Virizion. He joined Guslantis’ largest cellular provider in 2010, and has worked his way up the ranks of the organization. In 2014, Michel was selected as its fourth CEO. Under Michel, Virizion has miraculously continued its growth, and through it all, providing the best for its customers.

Alicia Durand (née Burns)
Chairwoman of the Board

It is the upmost honor of having our founder and first CEO back to lead the Board. Her achievements in the tech industry are unrivaled. As many tech companies stuttered, Alicia built one of the first and most powerful instances of artificial intelligence to date, Ayuda. She laid the proper groundwork for the company, and know that having her back will mean the best for Thomas going forward.

Felicia Scott
CEO of Thomas

Scott joined Thomas in 2013, and began working for the GusNet division of the company. She was selected to serve as the fourth development coordinator for GusNet, a role she excelled in. When Alicia resigned to become chancellor of Guslantis, she ascended to become the second chief executive officer of Thomas. She is responsible for many of Thomas’ product lines, and we are glad she has remained with us through the years.

Ralph Sørenson
CEO of Tundra Motors

Born in the harsh and frost-covered city of Brenna, Sørenson worked tirelessly to build a car company that was committed to making reliable cars at a price that didn’t break the bank. It was this vision that helped him create Tundra Motors, and although it’s still got a long way to go, he is in the company for the long run.

Prayuth Chiravanont
CEO of Karnataka Incorporated

Prayuth was born in a small town in the Truong Autonomous Region and always loved technology. He got great grades and managed to go to the University of Lhammasat on a tech scholarship, which is one of Syrixia’s best colleges. There he became one of the top students and was noticed by Karnataka, who hired him as a regional tech director. From there he rose up the ranks and the board of directors elected him to be the CEO in 2014.
