Announcement of Frigate Bid Consortium ​

Haor Chall Engineering (HC-ENG) would like to announce its intention to create a new consortium to bid for the Haor Chall Ministry of Defence Type 64 Frigate Design and Build contract and is looking for international partners to join the consortium and collaborate on this programme.

Haor Chall Engineering is one of the foremost industrial firms in Haor Chall, with a long history in Defence equipment design and construction and a reputation for excellence. The Type 64 Frigate is the newest procurement project from the Haor Chall Navy and is planned to generate export sales around the world. It represents a golden opportunity for interested corporations to take part in a significant Defence contract worth approx. $2.1 billion, with the potential for further related sales and an opportunity for international firms to enter the Challian Defence market.

HC-ENG is therefore interested in international partners in the following areas;

• Ship Engines, Power Generation & Ancillary Systems
• Shipborne Defensive Systems
• Sonar and ASW Systems
• Partner Shipyards for
  • build and integration of approximately 50% of the build programme
  • joint future maintenance and support provision

HC-ENG is already a significant armaments producer and will therefore be looking to use our own internal capabilities to meet the armament specification. However, this is not guaranteed and we are open to expressions of interest from suppliers of ship mounted weapon systems who would be interested in joining the consortium.

Noting the short turnaround required, interested parties are requested to contact HC-ENG at the earliest opportunity and no later than 21 January.

 

[Mouxordia]

Stijena Defense Industries and Strazar Shipbuilding would be more than willing and available to place a bid in the consortium. The Department of Defense of the Republic of Mouxordia has already seen quality and combat-tested platforms produced by Strazar's ships and Stijena's combat and navigational systems. Mouxordia's involvement and naval supremacy in the Prydanian Civil War was due almost wholly to these exceedingly capable platforms. Shipyards and piers along the coast of Mouxordia can provide facilities for hull construction, outfitting and sea trials, and long-term deployed support and logistics due to modern modular designs. Mouxordians have been renowned for their ship-making abilities for centuries, and that reputation still holds true in the highly dynamic modern world.​

Of course, such claims shall not come without their proof:

• Razarač-class Guided Missile Destroyer (14 built, 2 under construction)
• Tyrđava-class Guided Missile Cruiser (2 build, 3 under construction, 5 more hulls planned)
