The House of Representatives recently voted on the top candidates for the incumbent Democratic Reformist party (Bernard Roman), the minority Populist party (Harold Clayton), along with the top independent candidate (Roger Edelman).

People's Labor Party:

National Patriot's Party:
16 votes

The current President, Preston Milton, has voiced his support for Bernard Roman's upcoming Presidency.

Bernard Roman has stated that he plans to continue President Milton's goal of building ties with foreign nations, growing the economy, and maintaining economic stability while slowly growing the economy.

Mr.Roman will be sworn in as the next President in January.

On the 21st of December, a diplomatic message arrived in Midir, containing the following statement:

The government of Balanest would like to congratulate Mr. Roman on his election as President of Midir.

We also would like to explore the possibility of opening an embassy in Midir, with the purpose of improving relations between our countries and promoting the prosperity of Kian.
