New Year's in Prydania is actually much like New Year's in a number of places. It's a celebration, but doesn't really have much deep significance. It's just a good time to have a party and enjoy company.

So let's run them down...
The King's Speech. The Prydanian monarch gives at 6:00 pm local time on New Year's Eve. This dates back to the time of Queen Alexandria in the 1880s, actually.
The tradition became so engrained that even Thomas Nielsen was compelled to give New Year's speeches at the same time while he was Chairman of the Syndicalist Presidium.
The content and tone of the speech tends to change, depending on the situation in the country.
Wearing red and white. A tradition that wasn't upheld during the Syndicalist era but has returned, is the wearing of the national flag's colours. Some people go subtle with maybe some plaid or perhaps some muted dark reds with some white, while others will go all out and wear flag caps and flag-themed party hats!
Smashed porcelain. You take all the porcelain that's been chipped over the past year and you smash it on your friends' doorsteps. It's considered a good thing if you have a huge pile of smashed porcelain in the morning. It means you have a lot of friends.
The first foot. This tradition holds that you can invite someone to be the first person to enter your house in the New Year. Tradition holds that they bring good luck and good fortune for the coming year. Usually a blonde haired person means the most good luck.
This goes back to medieval times and the fact that the Royal family has a lot of blondes. The King showing up to your home was considered an honour, and this led to blondes being preferable for first footers.
First footers will say "Gleðilegt nýtt ár! (Happy New Year!) May the new year bring good luck and prosperity to his household!”
In central Prydania a tradition holds that if you refuse the invitation to be a first footer the good luck you would have brought is turned back on you as bad luck.
Gifts to usher in good fortune. This is related to the first footers. They can bring gifts to symbolize the good fortune they bring. These gifts- and what they symbolize- are...
coal - warmth
alcohol - joy and happiness
coin - money
book - knowledge
bread - food
cheese - comfort/wealth
tonic - health
Some first footers bring all these gifts, others bring only a few.
Food. So a Prydanian New Year's dinner consists of three things- cod, steiktsvínakjöt, and kransekage. Steiktsvínakjöt is crispy pork belly, and is considered the national dish of the country. Parents also tend to make it for their kids to reward them. Kransekage is a desert. It's a buttery cake in a ring shape that is only made for New Year's.
Fireworks. Of course fireworks.

New Year's is a very significant holiday in Arcanstotskan culture; after centuries of mixing between Szlavic Orthodox Messianist traditions and Ylkentic traditional Drykkenist practices have come together to form a unique national New Year's tradition.
The Arcanstotskan President gives a speech at six in the morning on December 31. He/she talks about the course of the year for the nation; Arcanstotska's triumphs and struggles, and announces the beginning of the Feast of National Renewal and Brotherhood, often called the Great New Year's Feast, or the Velikiy Novogodniy Prazdnik. The Great New Year's Feast is celebrated in cities and towns all across Arcanstotska in homes and workplaces and all places, to celebrate another year. The Feast lasts for twenty-four hours, until six in the morning on New Year's Day.
Messianist priests and pastors - be they Courantist, Laurennist, or Orthodox Messianist - hold prayer groups for the devout as they ask God to grant them a better new year. Drykkenists attend animal sacrifices and traditional dances and celebrations to honor and thank and worship the Dragon Gods and ask them for a better new year. All across Arcanstotska, the people eat and drink and sing and celebrate. Orthodox and Drykkenists priests hold a joint prayer session at midnight on December 31, temporarily combining the traditions of both faiths.

New Year's is the last day of the Winter Festival in Goyanes (Vinterfest), which lasts from Christmas Eve to January 1st. As such, it becomes a general day/night of partying and celebration. That being said there are some traditions that may be unique to Goyanes and others which are more generally associated with the holiday globally. Many public squares in Goyanes will have large outdoor festivals and concerts to commemorate the end of the year, culminating with large countdowns and firework displays to ring in the new year. Public drinking is condoned, and many go with romantic partners to revel. The largest is the outdoor celebrations at Johannes IX Square in central Gojannesstad, where often times over one million people crowd into the square to celebrate.
2. Skinny Dipping
Popular in college towns in Goyanes, immediately after New Year's, crowds of students will jump, completely naked, into freezing cold rivers, lakes, ponds, even fountains, to celebrate the New Year. The tradition was supposedly started at Hysende Tech, where in 1904, students jumped into the Sæg River from the Gamlestad Bridge in Hosen Sæg to celebrate the New Year. The bridge is low, so there are not many injuries from the jump into the river, but the tradition has spread to campuses around Goyanes.
3. Burning Calendars
At many homes, right after the New Year has begun, people will collect paper calendars from the prior year, and they will burn them in the fireplace. This practice is based around the Viking Funerals, where people are cremated on a wooden boat by setting the entire thing on fire. Therefore, they are giving the previous year a funeral. It is an especially meaningful tradition if the previous year has been difficult due to hardship or loss.
4. Cussing Out Loved Ones
Just before the clock strikes midnight, it is customary to cuss out your loved ones for any "transgressions" they have made during the year. Exchanging insults is said to clear the slate and welcome everyone into the New Year without any ill-will. Furthermore, if you're romantically involved with someone you cussed out, it is said that you forgive each other by kissing as the clock strikes twelve.

Sørdrikk is a popular wintertime beverage in Goyanes. It's essentially sparkling alcoholic apple cider. It is common to drink Sørdrikk in Goyanes instead of champagne for the New Year. The real kicker is once everyone has had a glass, the shortest person has to chug the remainder of the bottle. This is an old tradition where they are said to get taller by "drinking the last inch". Once they have finished the bottle, they have to throw the bottle into the street from the sidewalk. If it doesn't break it's considered bad luck, so people try to go as forceful as possible.

Prydania's tallest structure is Reynir Hospital in Reynir, Prydania. Reynir is a suburb of Býkonsviði and Reynir Hospital serves as a teaching hospital for the University of Býkonsviði. It has also been the place of birth of multiple members of the Prydanian Royal Family. King Tobias III was born here, along with his and Empress Alycia's sons Princes Baldr and Hael.
Reynir Hospital stands 120 meters (390 feet) tall and has twenty-eight floors.

United Engiresco's tallest building resides in Lukranusia, the capital city, near the center of the actual city itself. It is the Headquarters of the Ministry of Defense.
The building stands at 700 Metres, or roughly 765.529 yards.

Hi this post does not meet with Eras' standards for reasonable stats. For reference the tallest building in the real world is only 828 meters.

The largest monument in TyGerria is "The Gods' Chosen", an enormous statue of Emperor TyBerius Jalenio Ghonzago built upon the "Sandy Mountains" in Wensin. It's construction started after he reunited all of TyGerria under his banner and is believed to have been finished around 12 years before the Civil War. There's a tomb , made for Emperor TJG and his most loyal warriors, that was built inside of the temple. Sadly, TJG's remains have never been found, only his spear which now lies in his tomb.
