The Kingdom of Merilia has no set minimum wage. Instead, there are collective bargaining agreements for minimum compensation in the realms of Kaltía, Athlandi, and Alcária between the trade unions and employers on how much employees make per month. As such, two tiers exist... one for unskilled workers and one for skilled workers.

Unskilled: ƒ2,200 (ƒ13.75/hour) - ƒ4,400 (ƒ27.50/hour)

Skilled: ƒ2,800 (ƒ17.50/hour) - ƒ5,600 (ƒ35.00/hour)

The federal minimum wage after taxes comes out to $12.00/hr ($14.40 IBU) but each State is allowed to have their own set minumum wage as long as it is at or above $14.40/hr

Currently, the lowest minimum wage is in the Districts of Lili'uokalani and Firota, as they are the only State to follow the federal rate.

The State with the highest minimum wage is Capitalia, with a minimum wage of $16/hr ($19.2 IBU)

Due to the nature of Nocta terra's Economy, workers are not directly paid, however they receive monthly pensions from the government according to effort in the workplace, skill required for job, years of schooling or training, and other relevant factors. The average pension is 24,196 Noxia. With those on the higher end usually receiving extra pensions for other things [Military service, etc.],. and those on the lower end being in low-skill, low-effort jobs.

My minimum wage is currently 100 harscoins (11.62 NSD) in every region besides the capital.

In the capital, it’s at 125 harscoins (14.52 NSD).

The minimum wage is above average because of taxes.

The Kingdom Republic does not have a minimum wage, though the system has been previously tried in various Oblasts it has generally fallen out of favor.

'Guilds' in conjunction with Oblast governments do however publish information regarding expected monetary compensation ranges for various types of work in the oblast's particular economy. These publications provide information for differing methods of compensation with payment calculated as a fixed amount for each task completed (a task wage or piece rate), or at an hourly or daily rate (wage labor) for example.

In addition, these publications provide information to workers helping them understand when and how they should renegotiate their compensation over time, as well as if and when to seek out a new employer that will better value their work.
