Kingdom of Valencia Armed Forces (KoVAF)

Forces Armées du Royaume du Valence (FARV)

Composed of 211,625 active duty (314,450, including the Gendarmerie) and 35,125 reserve personnel (57,245, including the Gendarmerie), the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Valencia are charged with the responsibility of protecting the realm domestically as well as the interests of His Majesty abroad. The Ministre des Armées (Minister of the Armed Forces) Rose-Marie Rémy of the Ministère des Armées (Ministry of the Armed Forces) is charged to organize and manage the country's Defense Policy in liaison with other departments. She is also in charge of mobilizing troops and managing the military infrastructure. She is responsible for the Valencian Armed Forces security to the Parliament, and serves as a part of the Cabinet, which advises His Majesty.

Valencian Royal Army

Armée Royale Valencien

Consisting of 120,625 active duty and 16,000 reserve personnel, the Royal Army is the largest military branch in the Valencian Armed Forces. The highest military official in the Royal Army is the Chef d'État-Major de l'Armée Royale de Terre (CEMART) (Chief of Staff of the Royal Army) who is presently Général d'Armée Hugo Granet. He serves the Ministre des Armées (Minister of the Armed Forces) of the Ministère des Armées (Ministry of the Armed Forces), Rose-Marie Rémy.

Marine Royale Valencien

Consisting of 50,120 active duty and 10,100 reserve personnel, the Royal Navy is the second-largest military branch in the Valencian Armed Forces. The highest military official in the Royal Navy is the Chef d'État-Major de La Marine Royale (CEMMR) who is currently Amiral Sébastien Leblanc. He serves the Minister of the Armed Forces, Minister Rose-Marie Rémy.

Valencian Navy Ensign (left), and Navy Jack (right)

The Valencian Navy Ensign is a variation on the Valencian Coat of Arms, where a simplified coat of arms is centered upon a blue cross on a white background. It is flown from the mainmast of the ship while underway, and stowed while in port. The Navy Jack, a tri-fleur-de-lis staggered on a white background is flown from the jackstaff while in port.​

The highest military official in the Royal Army is the Chef d'état-major de l'Aviation Royale (CEMAR) (Chief of Staff of the Royal Air Force) who is presently Général d'Aérien Vivian Dubois. She serves the Minister of the Armed Force, Minister Rose-Marie Rémy.

Strategic Air Forces Command (Commandement des Forces Aériennes Stratégiques) - Responsible for the air force's nuclear strike units.
Air Defense and Air Operations Command (Commandement de la Défense Aérienne et des Opérations Aériennes) - Responsible for the surveillance of Valencian airspace, as well as all aerial operations in progress. This command does not possess aircraft; instead, it exercises operational control over unites of the Air Forces Command.

- Security and Intervention Forces Brigade (Brigade Aérienne des Forces de Sécurité de d'Intervention) - Responsible for units of the Valencian Royal Air Force's commando riflemen, tasked with special operations such as CSAR and target acquisition, and also includes the security units assigned to air bases and detachments designated for rescue and firefighting personnel.​

National Gendarmerie

Gendarmerie Nationale

The National Gendarmerie is one of two national police forces of Valencia, along with the Maréchaussée (Marshalcy). It is a branch of the KoVAF placed under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Interior, which also fills additional duties to the Ministry of the Armed Forces. It operates in smaller towns, rural, and suburban areas, while the Marshalcy - a wholly civilian force - operates in cities and downtown areas. Due to its partial military status, the Gendarmerie also fulfills a range of military and defense missions. It currently consists of 102,955 active and 22,120 reserve personnel.

His Majesty's Royal Guard

Garde Royal

The Royal Guard is a standalone paramilitary force whose primary charge is the protection of the King and the Royal Family. It has secondary duties of providing honor guards for the Kingdom and security in the Boffrand area.

Its missions include:
  • Guarding important public historical and government buildings in Boffrand
  • Honor and security services for the highest national personalities and important foreign guests
  • Military ceremonies and guards of honor for fallen soldiers
  • Support of law enforcement forces with intervention teams

Valencian Marshalcy

Officially La Maréchaussée et Connétablie (the Marshalcy and Constabulary) - but more commonly known as the Marshalcy - it is one of two national police forces alongside the National Gendarmerie, and the main civil law enforcement agency of Valencia. It holds primary jurisdiction in cities and large towns. The Marshalcy falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Interior, and employs approximately 200,000 officers.

The Marshalcy operates mostly in large cities and towns. In that context:
  • it conducts security operations such as patrols, traffic control, and identity check
  • under the orders and supervision of the investigating magistrates of the judiciary, it conducts criminal inquiries, serves search warrants, etc.

Valencian Special Operations Command (VAL SOCOM)

Commandement des Opérations Spéciales (COS)

Général de Corps Armée Maxime Côté is the current commander of the Commandement des Opérations Spéciales (COS) (Special Operations Command) (SOCOM), which coordinates the use of the Valencian special forces of all military branches (Army, Navy, and Air Force). Its role is to direct and coordinate mission for special forces units; these are permanently under its direct command and immediately available for action. COS is headquartered in Vierrac, Valencia and employs 5,865 personnel (405 general staff and 5,460 operatives).

Action Service
The Service Action is a division of Valencia's Bureau de la Sécurité Intérieure (BSI) (Internal Security Bureau) (ISB), whose parent organization is the Direction Générale de la Sécurité (General-Directorate for Security). The SA (or Action Division) is responsible for planning and performing clandestine and covert operations including black operations. The core specializations of the Action Service are sabotage, destruction of materiel, assassination, detaining/kidnapping, interrogation with and without using torture, infiltration/exfiltration of person into/from hostile territory and hostage rescue.
