Welcome to the 2017 Friendship Fair

Welcome to the North Pacific's 2017 Friendship Fair. Thank you for attending and for responding to our invitations. We hope that this will be an enjoyable fair for all participants.

The fair will include a wide variety of activities, both on our regional forum and on our event discord server here.

Our Delegate, Pallaith will open the fair with a formal address shortly.

Greetings friends! As we embark on a new month and recover from both the recent zombie apocalypse and our candy comas from Halloween, welcome to TNP's first Friendship Fair! Over the years we have had the distinct honor and privilege of befriending and forming close bonds with many fantastic regions in NationStates. You guys are the most special to us, so special that we agreed to build bridges between our regions and commit to each other in times good and bad. Many of the people in our regions have known each other for years, and we have a shared history and bond that other players and regions in this game do not. At times we are so comfortable in our skin and with each other's company that we can lose sight of just how special these bonds and commitments are. It is always worth reminding ourselves what brought us together, and just as important, if not more so, what continues to keep us going strong.

This year TNP wants to celebrate the trust and friendship that exists between us and our friends and allies through a week-long celebration. Our distinct and vibrant cultures will shine and our residents will mingle and share stories and fun experiences as the week goes on. We will hear from some of the greatest and most venerated people in this game, and hopefully we will all learn more about our shared heritage and history. The current leaders and power players will share their wisdom and perspective, and we can compare notes with those veterans who came before. Those of us who know how to have a good time will show us a good time, those who have mastered the art of roleplay will work their magic. All the burning questions will hopefully be asked and answered. Above all else, I believe this event is a great opportunity not only for TNP and its friends and allies to reaffirm our commitments to each other, but for TNP's friends to get to know each other a little better too. All of you were invited because of your formal pacts and treaties with TNP, but the name of this event is the Friendship Fair. This is a friendly, neighborly affair, and I will consider it an even greater honor and privilege if by the end of it some of you guys get along better with each other than you did at the start.
