Midterms

The 29th Midterms (April 2017) are almost underway, this election consists of an approval poll for incumbent Chancellor Lewis & Daniel which previous research by The Allied Republican shows he should win easily. The election will also be electing three senators where the terms of Senators Steven G. Eastridge, Obito and Trook Washington will be ending.

State Reports

Holy Britannian Empire
The HBE is in a period of transition at the moment. Since the election of the new emperor, the empire has been grappling with redefining and redistributing power. The Emperor ordered the reorganization of the state forums and selected Pletemia to be the new Prime Executor. The Emperor has advocated granting complete control over rp laws to the House of Commons under the direction of the new PE, while retaining control of the Administrative state laws.

While the process is slow going, the HBE remains a strong state. The HBE remains committed to freedom and the rule of law. As such, the HBE supported the Alaskan succession attempt and condemned the excessive force used by the GAU. Currently, the Emperor is hopeful that the stalled talks on at the governors' meeting in the capital will resume.

Great American Union
Alaska has seceded from GAU causing a huge controversy and many members of GAU have come out against the move including the president of GAU.
