On her maiden voyage, the CN Libertad was patrolling in the Naesser Sea when some sailors on the ship noticed a small boat. They ordered for the boat to stop where it was, as it was entering Cojedan territory illegally.

10:30PM, Naesser Sea, somewhere in Cojedes territory.

"This is such a boring night.", begins Lt. Vlad Timoshenko. "There is not even so much as a small boat or even any sea animals around."

"Calm down Timoshenko. I am sure something will happen soon.", responds Admiral Juan Macri.

A few minutes pass.

"Admiral, we have spotted a small boat off the bow.", shouts Captain Ilya Mauricio. "What should we do?"

"Do not be an idiot Captain. Order them to stop moving now and surrender. They are violating our sovereign territory whoever they are.", shouts the admiral.

"This is the Libertad. You are violating Cojedan territory. Turn off your engine and surrender or leave our territory.", shouts the Captain over a loudspeaker.

After a few moments, there is no response from the ship. They are still coming towards the Libertad. The Admiral calls out this time for them to stop of they will be shot. This time, they turn off the engine.

"Lt., board the ship and find out what they are doing in our territory.", the Admiral says.

"Right away sir.", responds Lt. Timoshenko.

The Lt. and 5 other soldiers board the boat. They discover that there is more than 10 people on this boat and that is not all they discover. While looking through the boat, one of the soldiers spots a box. He opens it and finds at least 25 kilos of cocaine on the ship. The Lt is informed and he decides to take them all into custody. He is proud of this because of it being the ships maiden voyage and the first capture they have done. They are transported to the Justicia who then transports them to the mainland to prison.

11:00 pm, Cojedes City.

The Ninhundish Ambassador rushes into the office of President Manuel Estafan and is yelling at him about what he considers to be a violation of the friendship treat of Ninhundland. The President responds saying that they violated Cojedan sovereign territory and smuggled drugs into it, which is punishable by 15 years in prison. The Ninhundish Ambassador leaves, but not before saying that there will be a response from the Ninhundish Government. Little does the President know what is about to happen.

11:10 pm, Naesser Sea.

The Naesser Sea is home to some 20 Cojedan islands, 5 of which are inhabited. For 400 years, the Ninhundish and Cojedan Governments have disputed who actually owns these islands, but seeing as they are in Cojedan territorial waters it was always counted as ours. Tonight, things are about to change.

"Mr. President, we have just received reports from Isla del sol that Ninhundish Marines have landed on 5 of the islands that we dispute with them.", says Secretary of Defense Matias Torres. "They are however uninhabited islands, but they are still part of our sovereign territory."

"This is an outrage! How could the Ninhundish government think they can get away with this?", responds the President.

"That's not all sir. They have also issued economic sanctions", the Secretary responds.

"Let them issue their sanctions, it isn't like we do much business with them. Tell them we will not give in to whatever demand they give us. Send more ships to guard the other islands and get troops onto them also.", the President shouts.

"Yes sir right away!", says the Secretary.

Things are beginning to heat up in the Naesser Sea and on the Cojedes-Ninhundish border. No one knows yet what is to come, but what is known is that one way or another, those islands will become Cojedan once again.

OOC: Me and Ninhundland have discussed this. This is not something i just decided to make up.

"Those islands have been under Ninhundish control for most of history since the 1400s", states Secretary of Defense Gödrich Eiselberg. "We don't care if some of those islands are less that 15km away from Cojedes. Besides they haven't even done anything with the islands so them trying to secure the islands is pointless."

23:30 Local Time
The NM Machtnemer leaves the coast of Northern Nordküste into the Nässer Sea. Loaded with 120 armed men. "We are ready to add some of these islands back to the Delfein Islands" says Lt. Andreis Straus. "The island by the name of "Sinderstrand" is the biggest on the 10 islands in the region and it's said that there might be oil underneath it like how other islands do in the Nässer Sea. We won't stop until we have control".

09:30 The Next Day
"We have successfully captured 5 islands without any battles this is going great, but I think we should call for some back up since this is still Cojedian Waters and we only have 120 Troops" says Lt. Andreis Straus.

A group of boats carrying a total amount of 20,000 troops are send to Sinderstrand to protect the oil rigs. Lt. Straus adds "If we deal with the Cojedes problem then we can make this island a oil drilling site but it's too dangerous to open this place up for work so all we need to do is scare the Cojedians out of here by not taking any of their protected islands.

12PM, Cojedes City

The State Security Council has convened an emergency session to discuss the recent act of aggression by the Ninhundish government by sending 20,000 soldiers into Cojedan territorial waters. The Presidency, Secretaries, and Legislators are all meeting to figure out what the next move should be.

"WAR! I say we issue a campaign against the Ninhundish. Send more troops to defend the islands. Tell them that they will not be the victors in this. Show them the strength of Cojedes.", shouts Federation Council Chairman Dmitry Estafan.

"I agree with the Chairman, Mr. President.", says the Secretary of Defense. "I believe it is time we show these Ninhunders once and for all that we will not take any threats from their country. Send in the troops and the Special Forces is my recommendation."

"I say we be democratic about this and put it to a vote. There are 22 of us here, 12 votes will be needed in favor to do this.", says the President.

The President begins the vote and when he says aye, 21 hands go up. He lifts his hand as the final vote in favor, meaning that the campaign to stop the Ninhundish and retake the Cojedan islands is now official. The President signs the act into law and leaves the room.

A few minutes later the President goes on national TV after ordering the deployment of more troops, ships, and aircraft. 32 ships are being sent to the area.

"My fellow citizens. Today, I inform you that the rumors you have heard abut the Ninhundish attacking and taking our islands are true. This is an act of aggression, which could have been averted had the Ninhundish who crossed into our territory obeyed our laws and came in legally. It has been decided by the State Security Council that we will no take this lightly. Following a vote of 22-0 to fight back against Ninhundish aggression, i have ordered the deployment of the 3rd and 4th fleets into the region where the islands are at. I have also ordered for 10,000 soldiers to reinforce to garrisons at the Ninhundish-Cojedes border. I will continue to speak with the Ninhundish government to see if a compromise can be possible, but as it stands right now, only the Ninhundish truly want war. May God bless our soldiers and may God bless you all."

The screen fades to black. People all across the nation are forming their own opinions. Within the first few hours, the National Assembly declares that economic sanctions will be issued in retaliation and that they will move more money into the Defense fund. The Government is hoping for a peaceful solution, however, it does not seem either side wants to put one forward.

"We are willing to compromise if you guys agree that he 5 island we have control over are ours to keep. You can keep the other 15 but we will not lower our troops until you back off from Sinderstrand."
Dominik Huhrmann

"We must defend these islands since Cojedes wants to do a trade ban on us we need to get all the oil from here." Says Secretary of Defence Gödrich Eiselberg. "We will have a minimum of 2,000 men and if we get attacked then we will head straight for the mainland of Cojedes but we will not take any more islands at the moment."

Lt. Andreis Straus "Mr. Eiselberg should we threaten an invasion of any more islands?"

Eiselberg "NO, all we need for right now is the 5 islands we have got control over and 2,000 men in cause of war. We will not attack their mainland unless they attack us first. Since Sinderstrand is the biggest island out if the 20 disputed islands at a size of 150km2 we're good.

Cojedes City, Meeting of the President and Secretary of Defense.

"Mr. Secretary, where at we at currently in this standoff with the Ninhundish?", the President asks.

"Well sir, we do have over 3,000 soldiers on the islands now and we have 15 of the 32 ships you wanted in the area. Our Aircraft carrier will soon be in range as well.", the Secretary responds.

"What plans have been made to respond to the threat?", the President questions.

"With your permission sir, we would like to surround the islands and cut off all possible Ninhundish supplies from getting to the islands. As well, we will begin shelling the islands with the ships and from artillery on the others and we will bomb them from the air.", the Secretary begins. "We will furthermore also land paratroopers on the islands after the bombings so that we can reclaim what is rightfully ours."

"And what do you believe our casualty rate will be?", the President asks.

"Sir, we expect that our casualty rate will be less than 200 but that the Nin's will be close to 700, but possibly even more for them.", the Secretary replies.

"And what is the name of this operation you plan to undertake Secretary?", asks the President.

"We plan to call it Operation Isla Cristo, in name of the largest island sir.", the Secretary responds quickly.

"All right Secretary. You have my support. Send the ships in to surround the islands, begin bombing them, and then land those troops and get our islands back!", the President shouts.

-------------------------
1 PM, 10 nautical miles from Isla Cristo.

"Admiral, I have just received a message from the Secretary of Defense. We are to surround the islands and begin bombing them so that we can land soldiers on the islands.", begins Vice Admiral Alexandrov.

"Alright then men get to your stations. Its time to surround those islands and take them back for the mother country. Captain, set sail for Isla Cristo.", responds Admiral Suarez. "Today men, we are doing our duty to our country by aiding in taking back these islands. Let us not fail our motherland."

"Sir Yes Sir!", the soldiers shout back.

The ships get near Isla Cristo, Isla Santiago, Isla Victoria, Isla Cojedes, and Isla Rodriguez. The lead admiral, which is Admiral Suarez, shouts out for the guns to be loaded and prepare to fire on his mark.

"Men, today, we fight to take back what is rightfully ours. Today, we fight for the independence of these islands. Do not fail us now.", the Admiral shouts.

All of the sudden the admiral says "FIRE!". All of the ships begin firing on Isla Cristo and Isla Santiago, meaning they will be the first to be attempted to take back. Within the first two hours, aircraft from the CN Santiago City begins flying sorties over the islands and bombing the troops.

--------------
5:15PM, CN Santiago City and CN Ogenygorod

Special forces and paratroopers are getting on planes on the aircraft carrier and are preparing to launch to fight at any given minute. The same can be said on the CN Ogneygorod, which is the largest helicopter carrier of the Cojedes Navy in this side of the country. They have all been briefed on their mission and are prepared to fight as hard as they can.

"I will be the first one on Isla Cristo and I will proudly plant our flag on it to show the world that they are truly ours.", says Lt. Enrique Nunez.

"No you wont Nunez. I am going to be the first on Isla Cristo, even if I die trying.", replies Private James Ramirez.

The Commander walks near them and tells them that they are soon to take off. Soldiers run onto the Hercules troops transports and are all geared up finally. The helicopters are the first to take off from the Ogneygorod. Within a few minutes the transport planes take off from the Santiago City along with 5 fighters for protection. They are close to Isla Cristo.

"There she is men. Now listen closely, we get to the island, we disrupt the Ninhundish soldiers on it, and we attempt to take it while the ships are still bombing and the artillery is pounding the islands. Understood?", says Commander Enqirue Salvador.

"Sir Yes Sir.", they all respond.

The troops land on the island as the sunsets. They are prepared to fight to the death for their country. By morning, 500 troops will be on Isla Cristo, with more coming from the islands to the north in two days.

"Mr. Secretary, should we drill all the oil out because the neighbouring islands are being attacked and Sinderstrand might be next."

"Most certainly", said Gördich Eiselberg. "We also must send our soldiers to the other islands and bring in the Air Force to start bombing the coast line. We don't want to kill many people but the military village on the mainland will be attacked."

Upon receiving word that Ninhundland had seized several islands in the Naesser Sea off of Cojedes, the Ministry of Defense began the mobilization of Imperial Knights, Goyanean Army amphibious troops, and Naval forces to the islands under Goyanean control in the Naesser sea.

Lt. Cmdr. Vall watched closely from the bridge of the HMS Bædurfjord. They had just cast away, and were now passing the breakwater that protected Kadsby harbor from the rough waters of the northern Naesser Sea. As the destroyer approached the rest of the flotilla, the navigator started shooting bearings for the Goyanean islands within the Naesser Sea.

"All coordinates entered into the charing systems. Layer 1 will overlay locked positions, and layer 2 will overlay bearings." said the navigator, from his fairly cluttered desk.

"Thank you sir." responded Vall.

As the ships began to head south, the sun started to set. It was bright orange. It reminded him of the old days, when him and his wife would sit on the beach of a sleepy old town and watch the sunset. He retired to his cabin for the night, waiting for tomorrow to come.

Upon hearing about the Ninhundish seizing the Cojedian islands in the Naesser Sea, the Minister President saw this as a opportunity to rebuild Cimmeria's reputation by helping with the Goyaneans pushing them out of the islands, while he ordered that the parliament place sanctions and an travel ban on Ninhundland.

OFFICIAL LETTER FROM THE MINISTER PRESIDENT OF CIMMERIEN

To the Ninhundish government,

Due to your nation seizing control over territory your nation has no control over, the Parliament of Cimmeria shall impose economic sanctions to deter you from such action.

These actions in this time and age are no longer tolerated by any nation-state, and this nation will not sit idly by, while your nation takes over land that rightfully belongs to a foreign sovereign state.

Also, due to your aggressive nature you currently display at the moment, we shall also place a travel ban on your nation, so that no potential terrorist group can enter Cimmeria, or so that none of our citizens can be harmed when travelling to Ninhundland.

In conclusion, let this serve as a warning. Should you fail to pull out of the islands, the government of Cimmeria shall take more drastic measures to make sure that you do so.

Signed,

Minister President William Brighton
Head of His Majesty's Government
Federation of Cimmeria

After hearing about the Ninhundish occupation of the disputed islands in the Naesser Sea , the king said the following in a press conference.

“The Republic of Ninhundland is a very aggressive nation. Since its beginning it has always been aggressive to other sovereign states. The recent conflict between Ninhundland and the nation of Cojedes proves this claim. It wasn't long ago that Ninhundish troops marched across the border and occupied Nogori in the hopes of making it more Ninhundish. History is repeating itself. Once more Ninhundland has advanced on territory that doesn't belong to it and once more we hope that they shall be repelled. Since these disputed islands are in the national waters of Cojedes then by all means the islands belong to the nation. This aggressive act made by the Ninhundish is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. As I speak to you now I have started the mobilization of 7,000 men to the Ninhundish border in hopes that this aggressive behavior will be stopped. Thank you and that is all.”

Lt. Straus sees as more Cojedian ships aproch the island. But lucky they can't withstand the occupation of Sinderstrand.
"What should we do if we expirance Goyanian intervention Mr. Eiselberg"?

"We will send spies over to Bædurfjord if necessary but until then we will block the canal leading into the Silver Sea. We don't want to provoke Goy any more but by barricading the canals between the islands and mainland Cojedes we would essentially stop any Andrennian Intervention. Lt. Straus get 2,500 men east of the island and attack any Cojedian navy you see".

The capturing of the inlet was a success but trying to block passages to the Silver Sea is very difficult since it requires us to invade parts of mainland Cojedes. Luckily the canal is only 10km north of Gränzeborg so the waterfront is disputed territory now without us having to invade any of the mainland.

Ninhundish Troops get bigger in size in fear of an Andrennian attack lined up across the Cojedian border. Ninhundish Soldiers are told not to cross the border but to stand their unarmed to not make it worse. Cojedes has nothing to fear since this is mainly to stop Andrenne from intervening by occupying the Ninhundish-Cojedes border but not crossing it

Isla Cristo

After two heavy days of fighting on Isla Cristo, troops have finally broken through Ninhundish defenses and have retaken the Cojedes Navy radio station on the island. They are setting up the system again so they can transmit a message to the ships. The message they are ready to transmit is simple, the capital of Isla Cristo will soon be retaken.

"Private, get the radio back up and running. We need to send a message to the Admiral.", shouts General Michael Hernandez.

"Sir, the radio is up and running already. We are prepared to transmit a message to them, we are just waiting on the message.", responds Private Gonzales.

The General picks up to microphone so that he can speak to the ships.

"Admiral Garcia. It is an honor and a privilege to inform you and the rest of the Army that the capital of Isla Cristo, Misiones, will soon be in the hands of Cojedes. The 200 Cojedan citizens who live in the city are safe and they have been cheering and throwing flowers in the air as our troops march by. We have the Ninhundish cornered.", says General Michael Hernandez over the radio.

The admiral receives the message and conveys it to the President. The President lets out a sigh of relief and says, "Freedom reigns once more."

------------------------------------
Isla Santiago

Troops on Isla Santiago have had a great amount of success against the Ninhundish on this island. They have even forced them to dig in near the capital, Arica. The troops are led by Commander Nikolai Krukoff of the 15th Special Forces Unit. He has led them to a hill over looking the city and has told them to prepare to fire down on the city. When he says that, they bring up 2 artillery batteries onto the hill and prepares to fire them.

"Men. Let this day be a great day for us and for our nation. Today, we are retaking Isla Santiago. Today, we are driving the Ninhundish forces off our territory. Today, we fight for freedom and justice. Now I cannot promise that this will be an easy fight, but I can promise that God will be with us every step of the way cause He is always there with us.", says Commander Krukoff.

The Artillery batteries are now in position and they are loaded. The Commander sends snipers onto the other ridge to shoot Ninhundish troops that are in their defensive positions.

"Sir, we are in position and are ready to fire.", says sniper James Diaz.

"Fire at will!!", Commander Krukoff shouts.

The Snipers and the artillery begin to fire. The sound of shells hitting the ground can be heard for miles. The snipers are hitting their targets right on as well, but they have a few near misses. Commander Krukoff shouts for the soldiers to go over the hill. They charge down into the city. The Fighting is intense and soldiers are usually fighting hand to hand.

As the sun was rising, the HMS Bædurfjord was nearing its designated protection zone. The other ships in the flotilla were assigned to different areas, essentially making a wall of ships protecting the Goyanean maritime boundaries. More ships were leaving Kadsby that morning, to positions in Cojedes to help reinforce the ongoing mission. Back on the mainland, Regiments were being dispatched to the border areas after the Ministry of Defense warned to be vigilant against a possible invasion from Ninhundland. People living near the borders were advised to prepare to evacuate on short notice, and to have their emergency kits ready.

**TV Starts Buzzing Emergency Message**

"Mama, whats happening?" said Marie, the 5 year old daughter of Janet and Van Kjoders, owners of a small farm near the Ninhundish-Goyanean border.

"Don't worry" said Janet, "Daddy is coming home from work in a few minutes."

The automated voice of the EAS started to speak.

"Attention. Attention. This is an Emergency Action Message initiated by the Ministry of Defense Emergency Command Center. Residents of eastern Kusenhelm are advised to evacuate inland immediately due to the high risk of Ninhundish invasion. If you choose to stay, here are general guidelines for the self defense of you and your family. Keep several loaded weapons within your household. If you do not have sufficient ammunition, go to a retailer and purchase compatible rounds. Always keep a loaded weapon on you. If you are confronted by a foreign soldier, do all you can to defend yourself. Only attack if attacked. Whatever you do, do not reveal information about the position of your family or of Goyanean military positions. Maintain a stock of food and water for at least a week. If you have no way to evacuate, or are not sufficiently prepared, proceed to your nearest railway station or city hall. Military police will be waiting there to assist you. This message will be repeated at regular intervals on the hour. Tune in to a local news station to receive more information."

As the message ended, Van walked in, telling Janet to go help him unload his truck. The flatbed was full of foodstuffs, ammunition, and water, already signaling to Janet that they were going to ride out the situation at their homestead.

Prime Minister Damien Holbach addressed both Kaltians and Andalucians in a government press conference regarding the ongoing situation brought about by the Republic of Ninhundland invading and occupying a small set of islands that lie in the territorial waters of the Republic of Cojedes.

"My fellow citizens, once again the Ninhundish nation threatens the sanctity of peace and stability in the region, violating the sovereign territory of the Republic of Cojedes by occupying islands that do not belong to them despite being under continuous dispute between the two nations. We have been receiving updated reports from our sailors aboard the submarine M.S. Asturias and have been actively monitoring the buildup of troops from not only the Republic of Ninhundland and the Republic of Cojedes but also from the Imperial Republic of Goyanes and the Kingdom of Nogori. We sincerely hope that the continued buildup of troops does not lead into yet another conflict so soon after the Crown Conflict between the Armed Republic of Cogoria, the Kingdom of Cimmeria and the Federation of Scallendovia. As such, we have dispatched a team from the Crimson Berets to offer the nations of the Northwestern Union a possible source of mediation and negotiation if they wish to try talking down the Ninhundish nation before engaging in foolhardy conflict that will only lead to greater instability in that corner of the region. Furthermore, we have implemented a general travel advisory against the Republic of Ninhundland and urge all Kaltians and Andalucians to avoid travel to the country for the foreseeable future. To all Ninhundish citizens currently visiting or holding permanent resident status in the Merilian League, your entry stamps and resident visas have been flagged as a temporary precaution so that police authorities may better assist you should you wish to go home or to extend your stay in our great nations. Once the situation has been resolved, your entry stamps and resident visas shall be un-flagged and any restrictions against your nation shall be lifted. We hope for a solution is soon found to this island conflict and the government will continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds. I will now take any questions that the press may have."

As Prime Minister Holbach wrapped up the press conference, he fielded any questions brought forward by the press that were in attendance.

While listening to the press conference in the background, Prime Minister Solveig Nightsong was drafting and sending a letter to the leaders of the Northwestern Union.

To the leaders of the Imperial Republic of Goyanes, the Constitutional Monarchy of Andrenne, the Republic of Cojedes and the Kingdom of Nogori:

Prime Minister Holbach and I have authorized a team of Crimson Berets and the M.S. Oriana to meet up with the M.S. Asturias to continue monitoring the situation currently unfolding over the invasion by the Republic of Ninhundland into the sovereign territory of the Republic of Cojedes. Both the M.S. Oriana and the team of Crimson Berets are being offered for any of your governments to use should they wish to utilize a neutral team of negotiators and mediators in settling this conflict. Furthermore, the two ships will be patrolling the waters north of your nations should you wish to utilize a neutral location to conduct any negotiations or meetings. Should you wish to use either the Crimson Berets team or the M.S. Oriana, I ask that you contact either myself or my fellow colleague, Damien Holbach, and we will set everything up.

Kind regards,
Prime Minister Solveig Nightsong of the
Merilian League and the Federation of Kalti

No.

As stated above, you must give your fellow RPers a chance to counter what you are saying. Declaring that war fronts are now yours and how many of the opponent's troops have died is not part of what you as an RPer can tell.

Please revise your posts to remove all accounts of godmodding or metagaming or they will be ignored.

It was the wee hours of the morning. A flotilla of Goyanean ships arrived to a Cojedan naval position to begin assistance. Guided missile destroyers began to fire cruise missiles to specific targets on Isla Santiago at 4:35 AM. They were allotted a 1 hour window to launch. They would begin another launch window at 6:00 AM. Armed aerial support was also launched from the aircraft carrier HMS Konstantin I. A squadron of Rafale fighters was deployed to assist Jacksonian military personnel with precise strike runs.

5:30 AM
HMS Konstantin I Flight Deck

It was still dark as Captain Gerald J. Whisner's Rafale M was loaded onto the catapult of the carrier. Only two days ago were they leaving Kadsby Harbor, but now they were stationed off of Isla Santiago. The deck officer raised his flashlight, and the catapult launched. His Rafale was thrown into the air with speed. In no time, the squadron was circling over the island, awaiting radio calls from Cojedan troops.
