Hello North Pacific! This is Oksana Kuznyetsova bringing you the news from Jacksonville.

Last night, we informed the world of a train that had been occupied by terrorist that was in route to Nichegrad in the Southern part of Jacksonville. It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that when the train arrived in Nichegrad that it was blown up by the terrorist inside. The Jacksonville National Gendarmerie Intervention Group had boarded the train near the city of Kranska and was able to evacuate all of the passengers before the train got to its destination city. When the train pulled into Nichegrad's Alexandrov Train Station, bombs that had been planted near the front and rear were detonated. 22 troops of the JNGIN had been on board the train and we have now learned that at least 5 are dead and 12 more are wounded. The remaining soldiers were in the middle of the train and suffered minimal to no injuries. President Astanov informed members of the NWU that the border would be closed for the next week.

It is Christmas Day here in Jacksonville and the Army is fully mobilized and is rolling out to help clear the roads. Tanks have been fitted with snow plows so that they can go through the cities in the north and help remove the snow. The tanks rolled through the cities of Nassau and Kranjska Gora, but most of the roads are still covered as snow continues to fall. The First Army was reportedly in Nassau and was able to push most of the snow out of the way, but after they had completed it, a blizzard came through and covered the roads once more. Kranjska Gora had no luck at all and is now under 7ft of snow.

Our final story for the hour, with the election only a little over a week away, the Jacksonville Government has begun to send out representatives of the election commissioner to different cities in Jacksonville. The representatives are accompanied by about 10 volunteers so that they can help in counting the ballots while the representative oversees the general flow of the election. It had been requested by the President and by the Election Commissioner that JNGIN soldiers be stationed at and around the polling stations. There is projected to be nearly 1,520 polling stations across the country, which means that the JNGIN will have a lot of ground to cover. We wish all candidates running in the election the best of luck.

Thank you for joining us here and Merry Christmas from the people of Jacksonville!

Good evening East Pacific! This is Dimitri Kuzlan bringing you the all the news from Jacksonville.

Earlier today, President Nico Astanov signed a decree which caused the forcible removal of Jacksonville from the NWU. About an hour later, the government began to meet to decide whether or not to override the decision. Four and a half hours after the debate started in the House, an immediate vote was called after a motion from the Jacksonville Democratic Union and the New Jacksonville Party. The vote saw a major shift in politics with all members of the Jacksonville Democratic Union, the New Jacksonville Party, the Social Democrats of Jacksonville Party, the United Jacksonville Party, and the Christian Conservatives of Jacksonville all unite and vote to override the decision of foreign policy and bring Jacksonville back into the NWU. This vote triggered the Senate and the Council of the Republic to hold a special meeting in which they vote 225-0 and 212-88, respectfully. The President of the Council of the Republic later announced the decision to reapply for the union.

An investigation into the Nichegrad train explosion revealed that a group of Jacksonians, calling themselves the People's Army, had planned to do more damage to the country. The JNGIN, now renamed the GIGN, along with the Marines Aleksandry force infiltrated the homes of these revolutionaries and arrested them. They are charged with 5 counts of murder, 12 counts of malicious wounding, terrorism against the state, treason, and planning terrorist actions against the Republic. If they are convicted, they could serve life sentences in prison.

Today is Fatherland Day here in Jacksonville, the day that we celebrate the original founding of our nation and those who have came before us and died fighting for the nation. Celebrations of Fatherland Day have been taking place all across the nation, especially with military parades. The main parade took place in East Jacksonville City, and the headline was the flyover of new Su-34's and Su-35's. Rather than President Astanov giving a speech like all Presidents have done before, Yuri Nikosovich, the President of the Council of the Republic gave the Fatherland Day speech in which he said that this is a great day for the nation, especially seeing as the Civil War is over and that we must always remember those heroes.

Snow is still falling all across the nation, but the main threat right now is from black ice. A 25 car pile up was caused in the northern part of the country because of the ice. The Government issued a state of emergency for the northern parts of the country, which includes the states of North Jacksonville and Nassau. The Army is on full mobilization to help out up there and the National Guard's of both states have been mobilized to help out in the city. The weather for the rest of the week will call for even more snow.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here. Stay safe and we will see you next time.

Good Afternoon. This is Slava Aleksandrska bringing you the news from Jacksonville.

We learned this morning that charges have officially been brought against the Jacksonville People's Army. They are charged with terrorism against the state, murder, reckless endangerment, intent to cause harm, and much more. They are to be charged before the Supreme Court of Cassation, the highest of the land. This morning at the bail hearing, the justices denied bail to them and told them that if the case was right now, that they would rot in prison. The Chief Justice then informed the Presidency that the court will hear the case against them on February the 4th.

The Jacksonville Armed Forces have been making many trade agreements in the past couple days. On Saturday, Jacksonville and Goyanes reached an agreement for the Jacksonville Navy to lease a naval port for one year in Goyanes for a total of 50,000,000 Jacksonville Dollars. Our two nations later reached an agreement for the selling of Su-34's and Su-35's. The Imperial Air Force of Goyanes bought 20 Su-34's for a total of 320,000,000 JD, while the Su-35's were sold for 150,000,000 JD in total. They later bought 12 MiG-25's and will only play 12 million for those. In the late hours of yesterday, President Astanov met with the ambassador of Nogori to Jacksonville, and they reached an agreement for the selling of 10 MiG-29's.

That is all we have for now. We will continue to update you on all the news as soon as possible.

Moving to the realm of politics now, the first elected National Assembly was sworn in earlier this week by the President of the Supreme Court of Cassation, Dragomir Nemestrov. Quickly, they got to work on legislation on how to better help the country, including helping people get jobs. A member, who asked not to be identified, said that his main goal is to see that the number of jobs increases mostly because he wants to help the common man. The House and Senate worked quickly on choosing their Chairman. The House re-election Nikolai Cox of the National Conservative Party, while the Senate elected James Alexander of the Jacksonville Democratic Union. The House, Senate, and Council of the Republic broke off into different departments to hold hearing for the appointment of Ministers for the President and last night, we found out that all 15 Ministers had been elected by the Government. The three Houses also broke off into committees that will oversee the legislative role of assisting the Ministers.

All states have fielded at least 3 candidates minimum for their Governor election, and they have fielded thousands for their legislative election. The first state to hold its debate tomorrow night is the newly founded Republic of Nichegrad. According to many political commentators, Nichegrad will be the region to watch because of it being newly founded there is no idea what its political spectrum will be, but according to a poll done by JaxTV, it is expected that the Jacksonville Democratic Union, a Conservative Party, and the United Jacksonville Parties will come out on top of the Nichegrad State Assembly.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good evening North Pacific! This is Anastasia Generova bringing you the nightly news from Jacksonville.

Our top story for today, the Governments of Nogori and Jacksonville have reached an agreement to where Jacksonville will open an airbase in the north of Nogori to ensure that humanitarian packages will arrive quicker and more efficiently. The base will as well be used for helping train the Nogorian Air Force with their newly acquired planes from Jacksonville and the Air defense systems, including S-300's and S-400's. The Nogorian leader also invited the Jacksonian Air Force to fly over positions where the Jacksonian aid workers are at to ensure their safety. The leader then extended an invite to allow Jacksonian Surface to Air Missiles to be based in the nation, if they were given to the Nogorians within two months. The cargo planes, missile systems, and military planes are expected to arrive tomorrow. It was also said that with each aid package, Bibles will be given out.

Early this morning, she announced that Jacksonian singer Todor Aleksandar would also join her on tour. The two announced it on popular morning show, "Wake up Jacksonville", where they both appeared to sing songs of theirs and talk about the upcoming tour. Todor, who was already on tour, told us that he is very excited to preform alongside Nina and that he hopes to unveil some songs during the tour.

Candidates for Governor and Legislators hosted debates all across the country today, all of which were or are still being broadcast live on TV and online. The first state to finish their debates was the Republic of Nichegrad. Both Governor candidates proposed increasing their state Army and Air Defense Forces. Governor candidates in the Republic of East Jacksonville and the Republic of Nassau all wanted to make more jobs for their states. Legislator candidates touched on the major issues, including state economy and the role of the church in their government, which many want to see grow.

That is all for now. We thank you for joining us here and we hope that you will be in prayer for the nation as we continue to host elections and for our aid workers in Nogori.

Good afternoon! Welcome to NewsHour: Jacksonville. My name is Bradley Ivanovich and here is the afternoon news from Jacksonville.

Tomorrow is a big day for the country as 3 of the 16 states will go the polling stations to elect their Governors and Legislators. The Republic of Nichegrad, the Republic of Altai-Cherkess, and the State of Jacksonville, which is the land of the former capital, will all elected their Governors and Legislators before the February 1st deadline. The three states are very different in their political beliefs. In Nichegrad, the Jacksonville Democratic Union is leading in the Governor race, while the National Conservative Party and the League of Social Democrats are leading in the legislator race in the same state. The Governor race in the other two states are too close to call as of right now, but the New Jacksonville Party is winning the legislator race in Altai-Cherkess, whereas the Christian Conservatives of Jacksonville are winning in the State of Jacksonville. We will expect the results by tomorrow night before 3 more states hold their elections.

President Nico Astanov held his first official meeting with some of the members of the National Assembly today. Mainly, he met with members of the House of Representatives, including Aliaksandr Nikolsky of the 1st District of East Jacksonville City, Nadezhda Romanchuka of the 3rd Senate District of Kransjka Gora, and Brayden Kradrodorde, the youngest Jacksonian politician at age 19, of the Jacksonville House 5th District. Many topics were discussed with the members, including humanitarian aid and mission work. Representative Brayden, who has done six mission trips, helped rebuild 5 houses, and has done 8 humanitarian projects, recommended that Jacksonville increase the amount of funding for both saying that, "We are at a time where we need to not only focus on our own nation, but we should focus on other nations. While both jobs begin at home, we should be looking abroad for chances to help our fellow man."

Early this morning, Jacksonian cargo planes carrying crates full of food, water, and other necessities arrived in Northern Nogori, along with Jacksonian Airplanes, and Air defense Systems as part of the agreement signed by both nations yesterday. President Nico Astanov told reporters that the airplanes and air defense systems are only there to train alongside the Nogorian Air Force, to give them some Air Defense Forces, and to ensure the protection of the aid workers in the country. The Church of Saint Michael in the capital of East Jacksonville City sent 13 missionaries along with the Jacksonville Crisis Center. The Archbishop of the Church told us that he was honored to have these 13 missionaries go to Nogori to not only help distribute aid packages, but to spread the message of Christ to the nation.

The three Universities that were built in the city of Nichegrad are now fully operational. The three schools officially finished building their dorms, apartments, and classrooms as of early this morning and students are already starting to move in. The dorms have a total capacity of 3,000; whereas the apartments have a total capacity of 500. The classrooms that were completed are mostly medical labs and chemistry labs. The University of Nichegrad has even built it own on-campus hospital, the 5th such in Jacksonville. This hospital will be used for many different purposes, from emergencies to special surgeries.

That is all the news for now. Thank you so much for joining us here at NewsHour: Jacksonville. We will see you tomorrow.

Good evening and welcome to NewsHour: Jacksonville. This is Ivanka Alistora bringing you the news from Jacksonville.

Our top story, elections in the Republic of Nichegrad, the Republic of Altai-Cherkess, and the State of Jacksonville concluded around 6pm, and the results have been officially counted and are in. In Nichegrad a shocker occurred when National Conservative Party candidate Aliaksandr Skrodu won the election with 52.73% of the vote. The second shocker in Nichegrad came when the Social Democrats only won 3 seats in the 200 seat House and 15 seats in the 121 seat Senate. A major amount of the seats went to the National Conservative Party, the Jacksonville Democratic Union, and the Jacksonville Progressive Party. In Altai-Cherkess, the Jacksonville Progressive Party won the majority of seats in the Legislature, and were just shy of gaining the Governorship, which went to the New Jacksonville Party instead. The JPP is joined in the legislature by the League of Social Democrats and the Jacksonville Democratic Party. In the state of Jacksonville, the Governor spot was clenched by the Christian Conservatives of Jacksonville as well as the legislature. They will be joined by the Jacksonville Democratic Union, the League of Social Democrats, the New Jacksonville Party, and the Jacksonville Progressive Party.

Tomorrow, elections will take take place in 3 more states. The Republic of Irkugrad, the Republic of North Jacksonville, and the Regional Republic of East Jacksonville will all three hold its elections tomorrow. Irkugrad and North Jacksonville are known for being staunch conservative strongholds, while East Jacksonville is known for being somewhat on the fence of the political spectrum. We interviewed some people in all three states. They did not say who they were going to vote for, but they did tell us who they thought would do the best job. Polls project in Irkugrad and North Jacksonville that the New Jacksonville Party, the Jacksonville Progressive Party, the National Conservative Party, and the Christian Conservatives of Jacksonville will win and possibly form a government coalition. Polls for East Jacksonville are saying its any mans game, but the League of Social Democrats and the Jacksonville Democratic Party are basically tied for 1st place.

Earlier this week, the Republic of Jacksonville and the Kingdom of Nogori reached an agreement regarding trade and mutual defense. As part of that mutual defense pact, both nations were bound by law to build a base in the opposite nation. Early today, Nogori officially began building its base in the State of Nichegrad, while Jacksonville has been building since yesterday. We caught up with some of the soldiers at the base who told us that their main project right now is building a church to where not only the soldiers can worship, but so can the people of Nogori. After our interview with them, we talked to President Nico Astanov who told us that the Nogorian Government has invited churches from Jacksonville to send mission teams over and even build churches in some parts of Nogori, with the approval of the localities.

That is all for now. We thank you for joining us here tonight.

Good Morning North Pacific! Thank you for joining us so early here at NewsHour: Jacksonville. My name is Nikita Strestsov and here is the news from Jacksonville.

Our top story, 4 more regions elected their Governments today which leaves only 6 to go. The East Jacksonville Administrative Region, the Republic of Duval, the Republic of Nassau, and the Republic of Mordovia-Khakassia all elected their governors and legislatures. These regions, know for being widely Conservative, elected 3 Conservative based Governors and 1 Independent Governor. They as well elected majority Conservative State Parliaments. The electoral commissioner of the East Jacksonville Admin. Region told us that the ballots were counted closely, especially in the state and national capital of East Jacksonville City. As I said already, the 6 regions that remain to elect their Governments are: Fernandina, Buryatia-Bakar, West Jacksonville, Biyatosk, and Voldonsk.

The Jacksonian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Selvaris was withdrawn earlier along with the entire embassy staff following a break in relations with the Kingdom. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jacksonville, Vasily Makei, cited his reasoning as believing their is a possible threat to National Security and Sovereignty. The Ambassador also encouraged all Jacksonian students in Selvaris to return to Jacksonville. Of the 200,000 students studying there, over 75,000 have flown back to Jacksonville and many more are expected to leave later today. President Nico Astanov has yet to release a statement regarding these recent actions, but Vice President Brian Alexandrov delivered documents to the Selvarian Ambassador ordering him to leave the nation within 48 hours. We will bring you updates as soon as it is known to us.

That is all the news we have for right now. We hope you will tune in later for the latest election results from Jacksonville.

This is NewsHour: Jacksonville with your host Lexi Harper.

Good morning North Pacific! Thank you for joining us. As said, I am Lexi Harper and here is the news from Jacksonville.

We can officially confirm that the State elections have concluded and that it seems the Christian Conservatives of Jacksonville took the lead above all odds. In the 5 states that had to vote on Wednesday, 3 of the states elected CCJ Governors, while 1(Fernandina) elected a JDU candidate, and Buryatia-Bakar elected a JPP governor. The Republics of Voldonsk and Biyatosk also saw a majority CCJ-JDU-UJ-JPP coalition formed in their respective houses and senates. Fernandina, West Jacksonville, and Buryatia-Bakar, while seeing major coalition numbers, went to the more neutral stances of the MCP and as well Fernandina gave a majority to the NCP. The most surprising result of any state can from Voldonsk who elected Kolya Yakovlev, the nephew of the former President. While this election took place, the First election of the Council of the Republic took place. 300 legislators were elected and we can confirm that CCJ, UJ, and JDU took a majority of the seats, but the LSD as well gain a major amount. Yuri Nikosovich was re-elected as President of the Council of the Republic following their swearing in yesterday morning.

Protests have swept across the capital city, especially near Embassy Lane where protesters broke through the original Army lines and continued to march onto the embassies. While this occurred, all ambassadors were evacuated to the Presidential Palace. The Protesters are calling for an earlier Presidential election, which they say should happen in April rather than June. They cite this being just because they have lost faith in Nico Astanov, who now has a less the 65% support rating nationwide. The President refused early elections due to the agreement that had been made with the Former government following the end of the war. The President tells us that this agreement does not allow him or any Government body to call for an early election.

Speaking of the Yakovlev family, it was announced by Aliaksandr Yakovlev, the youngest son of the former President, announced today that 2 billion dollars of his families estimated 35 billion dollar fortune was to be given to charities and missionary teams that represent Jacksonville. He said that this was his way of showing that he has truly accepted Christ into his life and that he hopes that the nation will forgive him and his family for the crimes that his father did. President Nico Astanov applauded the donation and called it, the greatest donation towards the expansion of the Kingdom of God in Jacksonian history.

Vice President Brian Alexandrov, who is usually not in the spotlight, made headlines today when he introduced a new policy to the Cabinet of Ministers. Alexandrov, who usually chairs the weekly meetings of the cabinet, told them yesterday that before every meeting is brought to order that a time of prayer would be held in the cabinet meeting hall. He told us that this policy he believed was a step forward for the nation and would open the eyes of the Ministers and allowed them to let God take the reigns when it comes to what their policies and decisions are.

Before we finish, we would like to announce that at 10:17 PM Thursday evening, the Nogorian Ambassador to Jacksonville passed away after suffering a heart attack. We hear at NewsHour: Jacksonville offer our prayers and condolences to the family and to the Nogorian people.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us this morning. We will see you later.

(OOC: A full result of all the elections will be posted on NationStates as soon as I can get it all together).

We must give the equal opportunity. Revive. We must revive our nation the way God would want it to be. That is our main goal and purpose as citizens of Jacksonville."

Our final story for now, the Governor of Buryatia-Bakar announced today alongside Vice President Brian Alexandrov that a new oil company would be created in the state and that it would open first in Gusinoye, the second largest city in the state and the 9th largest in the entire country. The Vice President announced that the company would be named the State Oil Company of Jacksonville Republic or SOCJVR for short. He stated however that Yulia was the one who chose the first name while he chose the middle name. According to the doctors, the baby is in perfect health and has a normal heart rate and is breathing on his own. Following the announcement, President Astanov and Vice President Alexandrov both offered congratulations to the couple.

Good Morning and welcome to NewsHour: Jacksonville with you host Nina Buryatia.

Hello North Pacific! Good morning Jacksonville! Thank you for being here with us and here are our top news stories.

Our first story is one of particular interest to many Jacksonians. Presidential candidate Yuri Nikosovich announced that if he is elected as President that he would restore the capital to the City of Jacksonville, rather than continue be President from East Jacksonville City. He cited his reasoning regarding this as that every President of Jacksonville has served from there and that he does not believe that the Administration of Nico Astanov has the right to change the historical ways of Jacksonville. "I believe fully that Jacksonville is the legal capital of our republic. It is the historic capital, it is the basis of our country and our heritage. I do not believe that this leader or his Administration has the right to change the capital, just because the Yakovlev family had ruled from there. I would like to remind the Administration that many of its members are from the City of Jacksonville and that they should take pride in the city." This caused a rebuttal from many members in the Administration, except for 3 members: the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Foreign Relations, and the Minister of Emergency Situations, all of whom are from the City of Jacksonville. The Minister of Emergency Situations told us that he agreed with Yuri and that the capital should be restored to its former glory.

Another major story out of the City of Jacksonville, a church there made national headlines when it came out in support of Presidential candidate Yuri Nikosovich. This is the first time that a church has come out in support of a Presidential Candidate since 1960. The First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, known for being a very Conservative church, announced its support following a vote of the church members. The church, which has a total of 28,000 members, spread across 4 campuses in the city, began an apparent trend because less than two hours later, the Church of the Spilled Blood in East Jacksonville City declared support for Yuri Nikosovich also. The Pastor of the church in the City of Jacksonville told reporters that they had began talking about who to support for President following the closing of candidates being allowed to register on the 12th of February. "I told the members that they needed to pray and ask how God should have them decide who to support. I was surprised by the amount of votes cast in our church and I was as well very pleased with the result. I know Yuri quite well, he is even an associate pastor at one of our campuses. While he does that job behind the scenes, only preaching when the Pastor is sick, he flies here every Saturday night so that he can come to the services on Sunday morning."

Our final story for now, President Nico Astanov and Vice President Brian Alexandrov have begun traveling across the country to swear in the Governors of the Jacksonian Republics. The President made his first stop in Voldonsk where he swore in Kolya Yakovlev, a member of the Christian Conservatives of Jacksonville. He then traveled to Altai-Cherkess and Mordovia-Khakassia where he swore in the governors there and opened the Regional Legislatures of both. Governor Kolya Yakovlev said that he was honored to be meeting President Astanov in person for the first time and that the two of them agreed on many things when it came to helping the economic situation in Voldonsk, a region which was really left unharmed during the war. The Governor will travel to 5 more regions Monday and Tuesday, while the Vice President will go to the rest on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and swear the Governors in.

That is all from us for now. Thank you for joining us here early this morning.
