Either you have entered your third year of education and are sat in your very first Political Awareness class, or you are a new (or prospective) resident to this great nation. Whichever it is, the content in this guide book will be your portal to our social norms and values. In this introductory chapter, we will brush over some basic information about this nation and what it means to be a proud Leninian.

THE EDUCATION SYSTEM

The great Socialist States of Vladimir Lenin are held together by an investment into the future, the education system. Leninians have an enforced attendance to a comprehensive system, that is a schooling system which does not base admittance onto educational achievement and economic capability. This allows for all of this state's citizens to become well educated and mould a utopian society.

Our beautiful state supports a national curriculum to better endorse our social norms and values. The education system teaches both English and Leininese, the committee believing that a bilingual national will be one which has greater capacity to thrive. Mathematics and three sciences are taught to all students, so that each individual citizen can analyse issues from a similar base level of understanding. Computer science and programming is taught to the population, encouraging a quaternary sector to develop a greater future national economy. Furthermore, ethics and political awareness is taught to our children to make sure that they will develop into young individuals which share compassion and human understanding.

Further education is provided free of charge. How does this work? All whom attend university will go on to work with society towards a common goal, instead of working with private corporation, which only produces greed.

Fedor was born in Afimskoe, the son of a railway official and the adopted daughter of a watchmaker. At 16, he became a member of the All-Union Leninist Young Socialist League (YSL), and joined the socialist party at age 18. He was a rising star in the organization until called to serve his nation in the military at age 20. Joining the army he was selected to attend the Artillery Officers' School of Leningrad and graduated with distinction. Continuing to excel in his duties and loyalty to the party he was further selected to attend the prestigious Frunze Military Academy.

Owing to his devotion to the party, and recognized talents he entered into special training for state security. Part of this training he assisted in the identification, deposition, and removal of several disloyal leading army figures. Upon graduation he entered the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs (NKVD), in a major capacity.

Eventually serving as Sakha Commissar he oversaw the stabilization of the area under party control. Furthermore he was responsible for the coordination and relocation of populations to areas that better serve the goals and interests of the party.

Within 3 years he had been promoted to Deputy Commissar of the NKVD. While in this position he oversaw the formation, initial, and continued guidance of secret police forces throughout The United Socialist States of Vladimir Lenin, its allies, and associated nations.
Shortly after the NKVD reorganized into the now KGB - Committee for State Security the head of the Committee was found dead in his home office. Fedor led the investigation with his close friends in the GRU Main Intelligence Directorate of the Army and revealed the cause of death to be the work of foreign powers intelligence agents, attempted espionage gone wrong. The 'natural choice' according to the Central Committee for new head of the KGB was none other than Fedor.
