The Federal Commonwealth of Demescia votes AYE to their ally, Guslantis, being introduced to META because they've had a cultural impact on the Demescian subcontinent, have a strong role in economics and meet the geographical qualifications.

They also vote AYE to Lanceria being introduced (because they meet geographical qualifications) and AYE to Bravaedia for the same reason.

Following extensive deliberations, the United Kingdom of Sasten hereby votes as follows:

On the motion to admit The Lancerian Empire as a Full Member of the Meterra Economic Treaty Association, we lodge a vote of 'AYE'.

On the motion to admit Guslantis as a Full Member of the Meterra Economic Treaty Association, we lodge a vote of 'AYE'.

On the motion to admit The Bravaedian Empire as an Observer of the Meterra Economic Treaty Association, we lodge a vote of 'NAY'.

Having achieved two/thirds approval, all ongoing votes pass. Guslantis and Lanceria are both admitted to META as FULL MEMBERS.

The Bravaedian Empire is admitted as an OBSERVER.

Mouxordia would like draw attention to Article 2 of the founding documentation of the META, specifically the first subsection which addresses the "endeavor to create a level economic playing field... will trial a single reserve currency."

The Republic wishes to adopt a currency which will be easily transferable and usable between the other members of META. However, it is unable to do so for lack of a commonly-accepted name and nomenclature by which to address it. Much discussion behind closed doors has occurred on this topic - some even jokingly referring to the currency as 'METABucks' - and Mouxordia would like to open discussion that will inevitably end with the hopefully unanimous (but at least a majority) decision to name and standardize our currency.

The respected Lancerian Empire has suggested naming the currency the 'meten', which would be both the singular and pluralized forms of the word (e.g., 'dollar' vice 'dollars') and annotated with the figure '?' (e.g., similar in use to the '$' or '£'). Mouxordia supports and stands behind this name as of this moment, and opens the floor to discussion.

The Lancerian Empire can confirm the honourable Mouxordia's statement. We agree that this is an issue that should be settled and we have suggested the 'meten' as the currency name.

At the moment, this is the suggestion we'd like to put our support behind, as detailed in Mouxordia's statement.

We are in favor of the Meten. As our largest multinational corporation, Thomas, prepares for a busy 2018, we hope that we can quickly decide on the name and design of a currency, so that we can focus less on the overhaul of our national currency, and more on promoting business in Meterra.

The Triple Federation puts its support behind the Meten proposal, and requests a analysis to be performed so META nations may have an idea of the impact to their respective economies.

The Mara of Naizerre does not have any objections to the Meten.

Hereby requests entrance into the Meterra Economic Treaty Association as an Observer.

Having achieved a supermajority approval, the matter of formalizing the name of META's central currency to the 'meten' (to be represented with '?', and used in both the singular and plural as 'meten') has passed.

Moving on, next is the matter of admitting the Most Glorious Principality of the State of Yukkira (to now be referred to as 'the State of Yukkira', or 'Yukkira' for truncation purposes) into META under Observer status. The floor is now open to ask questions.

The Republic wishes to know for what reason the State of Yukkira desires to attain status within META.

The Lancerian Empire also seeks more information regarding Yukkira's desires.

To whom this may concern,

The Principality seeks membership into the META in order to continue to expand our own diplomatic and economic growth. For over seven-hundred years, the Principality has paid homage to one colonial ruler or another. We were afforded neither the luxury of truly speaking for ourselves nor building for ourselves, relationships with you who call the world your stage. Though with our recent declaration of independence, we stand to rectify this weakness

In allowing us membership as an Observer state, we hope to not only benefit the META by coming to a more better collective agreement when it comes to trade, but to allow the Principality to begin the process of integrating with the community at large. In relation to Articles 1, 2, and 4, we'd be willing to some extent, be willing to extend such Articles to our own nation in the interest of growing the Principality's economy and political standing with the members of the META.

We understand that such an extension of the Articles to a nation applying to be an Observer would take a special vote, and know full-well, the answer could be a resounding "No." However, the Principality is nothing, if not, persistent.

Guslantis is in favor of the Principality of Yukkira gaining observer status, and votes for the admittance of it as such.

The Republic of Mouxordia finds that there is much to be gained in industry, manufacturing, and traded goods with the Principality of Yukkira. Thus, the Republic votes 'AYE' to admitting the Principality of Yukkira as an Observer member within the Meterra Economic Trade Association.

The Lancerian Empire has no objections to granting observer status and therefore votes Aye.

Abstain

Naizerre votes aye.

With a majority vote, the Principality of Yukkira is admitted into META as an Observer State. The Republic wishes to extend a formal congratulations to the Principality.
