Cogorian War.

Cogoria

TNPer
I'm looking for a nation to have a good old fashioned dust up with, don't mind if its a thread based in the past present or future, just want to do some war RPing :)

I'm more interested in the little island bit with Bohseon as well as fleshing out Syrixia on the new map these days. Go back in time to 2014 and talk to me in the past if you want a crazy no-holds barred war. :P

or just talk to nebula

But what would the spark be? Cogoria can get up to shady stuff, bit what would cause Nebula to declare war? Conversely cogoria could declare war if Nebulans funded or participated in a terrorist attack against the nation

After Galacta is reassumed into Nebula, Nebula decides "that worked surprisingly well" and starts inducing robot revolution in other countries. Cogoria might be one, but not enough robots exist to make it happen, and Cogoria traces the attack back to Nebula.

If this does turn out to be a war between cogoria and Nebula, it's close enough to Yeraennus and Cronaal that Yeraennus would probably consider intervening to protect their interests in the area.

Well at the moment Cogoria is essentially cold war tech level so no robots really, unless you want to do a future tech one

Maybe a couple cold war type actions and your nation trying to spread the revolution to other nations all before the closure of the border/isolation period?

If Cogoria is a Marxist-Leninist state, it seems like a ripe place for a Kronstadt. Left-communists and anarchists in Cogoria demand the return of the means of production to the workers rather than the centralized state, and that repression of non-Leninist forms of socialism cease; eventually after enough protests the Cogorian government sends in troops to crush the rebellion and Nebula could intervene on behalf of the workers.

Krodstadt wouldn't suit current Cogoria too much, they've been through all that over the last 50 years and are now pretty stable. However Anarchists could start causing trouble over Cogorian complete failure in the Pelhaforan Crisis, viewing the government as weak, only to be swifltly put down fairly brutally

Nope no issue, so yeah robot idea would work in that case cause most cogorian robots are just arms on assembly lines....

I'll have a starter post up later. Does Nebula have any colonies in spess? Cause Cogoria invading Eras just to get Nebula would cause problems

The Nebulan takeover of Galacta put about two-thirds of Galacta's space possessions into Nebulan hands. These are overwhelmingly robot dominated. The areas with a higher human-to-robot ratio in the population were still swept up in the revolution, but many of these managed to get their independence.

To be as accurate as possible, the Nebulan space holdings are autonomous bodies allied with one another- the Nebula on Eras does not have any political hold over any of them, but circumstances have made Nebula the de facto leader of the alliance.

Quick rundown of Future Tech Cogoria now that I've put the first post up.
Cogorian space includes three planets, Cogoria, Bastion and E.21135.
Cogoria is the prime world, it is where the vats that the majority of Cogorians are grown in are. It is practically one massive industrial planet with as much of the surface as possible crammed with massive factories and habitation. starting to run out of space the cogorians began digging vast underground cities, not the buildings in an underground dome kind but the miles and miles and miles and miles of undergound tunnels corridors and facilities.
In orbit around Cogoria are a number of orbital fortresses
Bastion is a mostly Agri world with a number of mines in the southern hemisphere. It is also home to the "camps" vast training facilities where the Cogorian Army is trained and housed before shipping of to E.21135
In orbit around Bastion is "The Yard" An artificial planetary ring that is a colony/shipyard and orbital defence station
E.21135 is where the Forever foe resides. An Alien species that nearly wiped out the Cogorians. They possessed far superior technology but have lost most of it. The only item that the Cogorians were able to reverse engineer and produce themselves were the Foe's Bio Vats, which Cogoria now uses to produce it's population almost as if it were just another assembly line. The Foe still has a number of their own vats beneath E.21135 so the war has lased a very very long time. E.21135 will not be named until victory is achieved, but it has stalemated as Cogorian troops get slaughtered in the Foe's tunnels and the Foe gets slaughtered hen they come to the surface. As such the surface is crisscrossed with trenches an fortifications, the entire population there is military personnell.

AIs that Nebula can subvert are obviously the new automated troops, the simple AIs in factories amd the AIs in the fleet and the Fleet AIs in The Yard taht monitor Foe incusions onto the surface. The chaos this would cause the armed forces and the loss of life incurred would lead Cogoria to go to war very easily, with very little evidence

Question: would it be technologically feasible for the Nebulans to hack the Cogorian life vats and shut down the system? I mean if we can get into a military robot control software we should have no problem with this sort of facility.

Also if my post doesn't work just tell me and I can edit it.

Post is good, and yes it would be possible to affect the vats, it might wipe out a class or two being incubated but Cogoria would have it up and running again after a few months

OK, I probably won't do anything with that until the war has really started up and is running (presumably after the robot revolution is quashed in Cogoria).

Well after the robot revolution is crushed Cogoria will be de-automating a lot of vital facilities, so it would become harder. Not impossible, just harder

Sorry for the delay, RL came up. Left it there as I don't know if Nebula would do anything if the robots were halted for a week, if you don't want to do anything yet I have another post ready for when Cogoria begins to fully fight back

I'm thinking that just as the envoy is preparing to leave, the Cogorian humans break out of the tunnels, destroying the physical bodies of the ambassadors and galvanizing Nebula into war with Cogoria. Thoughts?

Could work, it would easily appear that the Cogorian Homeworld has ben conqured prematurely seeing as the majority of the population is heading for tunnels, Bastion is pretty much un automated and has large military bases so would require outside help to be conqured, same for E21135 as it has the largest concentration of veteran troops. Navy would be all but immobilised as the crews rip out the AIs and end up drifting as they try to patch bypasses
