I have received an application from Kasch to become an RP Moderator.
My Application for RolePlay Moderator
I would like to be a RolePlay Moderator of the Sports/Stadium subforum because I am well suited to that area and have lots of experience with sports roleplaying. I have successfully planned and organized two football/soccer tournaments including dispatch writing, thread posting, promotion, polling and scheduling. Sports roleplaying is my speciality due to the abundance of resources and effort I am willing to put into making a project successful. Not only does sports roleplaying require great management skills, but also a wide variety of organization skills such as: Time management, event planning, coordination, communication, moderation, vision for expansion and BBCoding.

The following are examples of what I would do in the provided scenarios:

Scenario 1

Bigtopia has posted his factbook on the TNP forum, only to find that Wezeltonia, a nation very new to TNP, has copied it, including format and most of the content. Bigtopia has appealed to the RP moderators for help. How would you resolve the situation?
I would request that the newer nation stop plagiarizing somebody elses work and add their own spin on the factbook. I would also suggest adding credits to the original factbook publisher so that people know where the idea was taken from.
Scenario 2

Smallnationstan wants to start a new organisation along the lines of the United Nations. He has planned out a very organised structure that requires the creation of the several subforums. However, the admin team are not willing to create so many subforums for an organisation that is so new. How would you work with Smallnationstan to resolve this issue?
I would advise that instead of starting off too quickly, a slower and more carefully thought over plan should be approached. I would then suggest that some of these suggested subforums be merged to save space and prevent any unnessecary scattering. From there, I would make sure that they stick by the word of the admins and not work by laws of their own. I would ask the newer nation to wait for a while until they are more acquainted with their surroundings in the region and on the forums.
Scenario 3

Oldtimertown, a well respected member of the TNP community, has just started RPing, however they are encountering problems in their posts with unwittingly RPing other people's characters and actions, which has caused a dispute with, Experiencednation, the person they are RPing with that has turned quite nasty. How would you work with both players to resolve the dispute and help Oldtimertown improve their posts?
I'd ask Oldtimertown to stop controlling other people's characters and develop their own. I would ask the experienced nation to be patient and understanding of the older nation, who was new to roleplay. To improve his posts, I would suggest trying to be a bit more creative and original, perhaps even asking the experienced nation for some advice with it.

Should this be accepted, I look forward to working with the RolePlay Moderation team over the next term!

Thanks :)

Kasch has single handed organised the first NSSports RP that I've ever seen, via the tournament. I've been very impressed with their dedication and work over the past few months, and strongly think that I should have moved them to Culture when IG CTE'd. However, their focus is entirely, from what I've seen, Sports RP.

If you're in favour of having specialised moderators for specific areas, then they'd be a strong candidate. They are new to the community however, so it is down to you whether you want to give them what is basically a semi-permanent moderation position.

Kasch is a wonderful person to work with/talk to and absolutely dedicated to producing quality content. Welcome him aboard by all means.
