Backgrounds:
21st of February, 2016 was a big day in the history of Lorbank. Presidential and parliamentary elections were held in the same time. The people who had the right to vote (above 18 years), were very active. The election turnout was 70,5%, it means that seven people from ten went to cast their vote.

The results were:

Presidential elections:

Leslie Burves (RP) - 63,65%
Petro Kijuza (PD) - 18,15%
Abed Rupert (LJP) - 8,2%
Jake Smith (LL) - 6%
Matthew Francois (CP) - 4%​

Parliament elections:

Resistance Party (RP) - 60%
Politics can be Different (PD) - 19%
Lorbankian Justice Party (LJP) - 11%
Lorbankian Libertarians (LL) - 8%

Communist Party (CP) - 2%​

The bold written parties got into the parliament

Nowadays:
On the 21st of May, 2016, the elected president, Leslie Burves (1998 - ) announced that he formed the new government. There are some new ministers and some under-secretaries. Here is the important and new members of the new government:
