To all national leaders and sovereigns,

The National Government of the State of Yeraennus would like to formally and cordially invite those interested to attend a World Fair of the arts and sciences, hosted in the capital city of Yeraennus, Ko'lon. Attendees interested in displaying their cultural and scientific achievements will be required to bring a long an example of said achievement, such as a work of art, a scientific prototype, or even a dish representative of your nation's cooking. Multiple entries into the world fair are permitted and encouraged, to better display your nation's achievements. Attendees may arrive at any time, but the fair proper will begin in one week's time. The World Fair will be hosted at the Yeraenn University of Sciences.

If there are those among your nation who would wish to attend outside those displaying at the Fair itself, all are welcome to come to the fair to enjoy the sights and creations. In warning, any attendees caught attacking those of another nation, no matter their political or cultural differences, will be detained in Yeraenn prison and released to their home country for further, if necessary, punishment. In doing so, we can create a peaceful environment to better share our cultures.

Regards,
Sphan K'ter, Grand Generalissimo of Yeraennus, Executive Head of Yeraennus, Minister of Economics
Esop A'guz, Prime Vizier of Yeraennus, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Culture
Khiara Algen, Grand Warden of Yeraennus, Minister of Defense, Minister of Education

To whom it may concern:

The GusNet Team would like to send GusNet Development Coordinator, David Mitchell, and its bot, Ayuda, to the Fair. The team asks for room to set up one of its touchscreen monitors, and for Ayuda to be linked to the controls of the university, as the bot is used to being connected through that route. As usual, the team can help set up permissions for Ayuda's area of confinement (you know, so anyone studying at the university doesn't have Ayuda looking through their stuff). We hope to hear from you soon, and are ready to show the future of Ren Industries.

To whom it may concern:

GusWare is ready to announce its new game in the Guslant Gladiators series, Guslant Gladiators 3: Third Time's A Charm, which is the first game to introduce a female option, which is voiced by Alicia Burns, former chancellor and an avid player of our game. While Alicia cannot make it to Fair, many of the cast members of the trailer will be in attendance for those who play the series and have seen the previous trailers. We hope to allow guests to play the platform demo of the game, as well as show the full trailer of the game to the audience.

Sincerely yours,

GusWare

Confirmation of Attendance

On behalf of the people of Imperium Augustum, I would like to confirm that Imperium will be sending an official envoy to the World Fair. I will be attending personally, as will a complement of August business and cultural leaders. We intend to use our time at the World Fair to showcase Imperium's vibrant, multicultural society. To this end, I will be bringing with me a number of famous artists from across Imperium, who will discuss and promote the great heritage that they both upkeep and improve.

We will also have the privilege to show fair attendees Imperium's other aspects of Imperium's cultural life; through sporting demonstrations - for example, we plan to showcase fencing and wrestling at the World Fair, as well as a live feed and commentary of an Aetherrat match held in Imperium, as well as a post-match teleconferenced interview; culinary demonstrations - Imperium will be providing lunch, with carefully selected Latin meat and produce, throughout the fair; music; and literature.

We are also proud to announce that a member of the August Household will be in attendance. While Caesar himself cannot attend, due to his office, we will have the pleasure of accompanying one of the Augustine Conclave to the Fair. We hope to be able to forge new cultural and social bonds between our monarchy and the cultural, social, and political communities of the world.

RE: Ayuda

The technology staff at the YUS will be glad to assist David Mitchell in setting up a display for the Artificial Intelligence Program Ayuda. A scan of the program for malicious software as well as a previously mentioned area of confinement will be set up to prevent potential damage to University technology. This is considered routine for all foreign programs being introduced and is only to assure complete safety when using or interacting with said programs. The technology staff would be further interested in hopeful study with David Mitchell on Artificial Intelligence Programs such as Ayuda as part of a project the University is funding at the moment to create a Yeraenn Artificial Intelligence Program.

The Syrixian Empire will be most happy to attend the fair. The unique Syrixian culture, we believe, will be a wonderful addition to the fair. As well, we believe that the fair is a perfect place for the Empire to unveil its latest scientific breakthrough to the world.

To: World Fair planning committee
We believe that it may be interesting to have a section of the fair showing off the various AI's of Eras, and as such we shall be bringing E.V.A to the fair, among other advancements. We hope this fair is a success for us all.

Best Regards,
Aindrea Silver, Head of Science at TRADA (Trinnish Research And Development Agency)

We at Videorama Broadcasting, buoyed by the ratings success of the classic TV series "Capeside Cybernauts" across the region, wish to present a special advanced screening of the TV Movie "Back to the Cyberverse" which is the first instalment of the new series, the first in 20 years, and to have the shows stars Ignacio Moir and Helmut Procht to hold a panel for all Capesiders in attendance.

The Environmentalist Utopia of Hiskjriaana would be delighted to attend The World Fair and offer its unique culture to the rest of The North Pacific. Although literature is understandably hard to 'present', we will be happy to send over the Sinfóníuhljómsveit Hiskjrintine to demonstrate Hiskjriaana's long tradition of art music.

"Jutta Sommer."

"Excuse me?"

"Surname, Sommer. First name, Jutta."

The airport clerk with the half-closed eyes trained his eyes on the passport once more, eyeing the print, then nodded. He stamped the passport with a click and without so much as a welcoming smile, waved in the Kannexan woman. He appeared to be in a bad mood and Jutta didn't want to bother him anymore. "Next!"

Jutta flashed a freckled smile and mouthed a thank you before taking her passport. With a few wavering steps, she passed the passport booth and eyed her surroundings. White, curvy architecture with large glass windows sunken into the walls dominated the scene, letting in brilliant rays of sunlight. Electronic billboards lit up and formed English and Yeraenn letters, dancing and sliding around on their screens. The chatter of a thousand travelers from all across the world echoed in the wide halls of the airport. She picked up her luggage bag, a red rectangular prism with zippered pouches. She had bought the bag in Syrixia after breaking her old case.

It would be a good idea to call her boss to let her know she'd made it to Yeraennus in one piece. But she was hungry at the moment and tired from the cramped air travel and wanted to first feel the bed of her hotel first. "Na gut, nun, wo ist der Ausgang..." The sun shone, blinding Jutta for a second. Using her passport to shield her eyes, she searched for an available taxi.

The University was in a state of organized chaos as the opening day drew nearer, students and workers alike helped set up booths and arrange halls for presentations from the various attendees. Even outside the university, Yeraenn citizens were abuzz with delight over the coming festivities.

Sphan K'ter looked out over the bustle, Esop standing at his side. Despite the formality of their positions, they spoke like old friends. "You know, Esop, this wasn't such a bad idea. I must admit that I was mildly concerned with letting foreigners see how our country functions, as well as letting that AI program-- Ayuda, was it?-- have access to our University's network, but it seems that those concerns were misplaced. This seems like it will go very well."

Esop replies, smiling, "I tell you every time, Sphan, my ideas are great! I simply cannot wait to see the examples of culture and science the attendees will be bringing. 'Tis a shame that none thought to bring more works of art or similar forms of media. Still, the thought of AI's being advanced enough to be presented as complete product right here and now is fascinating, I'm sure Khiara will be delighted to see them."

"Indeed, Esop. Hmm... by the looks of it, preparations should be complete in one or two more days. I can only hope more nations would show interest in the interim. By the way, I've heard tell that the delegate from Kannex has arrived, seemingly without announcement. Do check in on that, please. Politely. Jutta Sommer is our guest."
