Update: After 5 Games:
National League 1: Moshemini Talestars are going through a horrible start to the season, having yet to win a game and sit second bottom in the table. Talestars, who many thought to be among the favourites to win the league, parted company with manager Tikuma Mobita following the teams 1-0 away loss to Club Kampongo, Kampongo's first win of the season and a result that took CK above Talestars in the table.

At the opposite end the Lamata Warriors have set the early pace and remain undefeated, having won 4 and drawn 1 so far. They sit 3 points ahead of surprise packages Sporting Nsombo and Tshamika Union 99. Union's position is especially impressive given that they've scored just 4 goals in their 5 gamres.

Kampongo Force in 5th and Real Sami in 10th are the League's top socrers, with Sami also the team with the worst defence, conceding 13 goals thus far. SuperSport Rangers Adele Adjatay tops the goal scoring chart with 7 of Rangers 10 goals thus far.

National League 2:It's a case of defence leading the way at the top of the NL2, with Nekalagba Rangers being the surprise leaders after 5 games. The undefeated and yet to concede a single goal Rangers have only scored 4 times, but top the table by a point from the more fancied Bamugui All-Stars and Kotoko Nsombo. Pressure is building on the managers of the Tshishondo Reds and Basolmbi Wolves who find themselves in 10th and 11th respective to improve upon their shaky starts.

One of the pre-season favourites in Makabi Greens find themselves in the lower half of the table at 14th following their 2-0 loss to Nekalagba United on matchday 5, with city rivals Makabi Stars propping up the table. The Stars will be disappointed to find themselves behind teams such as Kihaha Villa and AS Bushimina.

Sporting Bolindongo's excellent 5th position is largely down to the exploits of their marauding left winger Rivo Camara, who has 8 goals to his name and is said to be interesting clubs from the National League 1. Camara's goals mean Sporting are the leagues second top scorers, joint with Kotoko and behind Bamugui All-Stars. AS Bushimina meanwhile, have conceded the most so far, shipping 9 goals.
