Hear ye, Hear ye! The Ministry of Home Affairs is recruiting new Executive Staff members!
Due to a recent slump of activity across all of NS, we have seen participation decrease across many of the government ministries. One ministry that has been strongly affected by this inactivity plague is the Ministry of Home Affairs. Due to a lack of members and increasing inactivity, our Mentoring Program has gone into a standstill, and thus, we were forced to suspend the program until further notice. The recruitment program has fared better, but the lack of activity is still present and visible.
With that in mind, the Ministry of Home Affairs is in serious need of new, active members. There are no requirements other than being a forum member willing to spend 5-10 minutes on ministerial work each day. As far as projects available go, we have two main ones, recruitment and mentoring. We provide templates for each of these activities, but members retain the right to come up with their own personalized messages. Either way, the amount of time that is needed to commit to either project should not be more than 10 minutes per day. If you can please put in this commitment and help this Ministry, we would be grateful. There are a variety of benefits that are gained for those who put in the effort and work, and these include promotions and recognition. So go ahead and join!

Descriptions of the Programs offered: (Keep in mind that sample templates are provided for each activity we do to get our members started)
Mentor for new forum members: The regional forum can be an intimidating place for new members, who are unfamiliar with its structure and the function of its various areas. As a Mentor, you will be working to help welcome and integrate new members to the forum experience. You will be expected to contact newly-registered members, provide them with guidance as they navigate the forum, and assist them with any questions they may have. As a Mentor, you will need to already be familiar with the forum and government structure yourself. Good communication skills will also be important, as approaching the new members in a friendly manner will be critical for helping them get acclimated quickly and easily. Being a Mentor is the best way to get to know and connect with the new, up-and-coming members of our community.
Recruiter of nations in The North Pacific: The North Pacific has 6000 nations, but only a few dozens of them are active on the forum. One of the functions of the Ministry of Home Affairs is to encourage as many of these nations as possible to join the forum, so that they can enjoy the full experience of The North Pacific. As a Recruiter, you will be expected to maintain a regular presence on the Regional Messaging Board, where you will be posting to promote forum membership and involvement. Furthermore, you will be contacting nations by telegram, to invite them to join the forum and assist them with any issues they may encounter in the process. As with Mentors, good communication skills are required for both of these functions. You will also need to make a considerable time commitment towards watching and participating in the game-side aspects of The North Pacific. Of course, this also means that you get to engage with the entire nation population of The North Pacific, which as you will discover is a very enjoyable experience.
