I'm interested in starting a political character RP set in Plembobria. The story is based on Attorney General Martin Alastair, shrewd, and intelligent politician and lawyer.
Member of the junior party in the government coalition, he intends to become Prime Minister. Clearly this is going to be difficult. He's not a member of the ruling party, neither is he particularly eminent at the moment. Nothing will get in his way. Perhaps he will try to convince the leaders of his party to merge with the major one. How could he do this? The story takes place in light of the financial crisis.
This RP is intended to be a tale of corruption, intrigue, and scandal. Like House of Cards but not.
Suggestions for the plot are welcome. If you are interested in being involved, post. I may decide who your character's name and position is, but I intend to allow the participants quite a bit of discretion, within the framework of Plembobria's political system of course.
Foreign policy is really a backdrop here. And I don't want people who intend for their characters to bust Martin's schemes wide open and save the day.
That said, sign up!
