"Strength In Unity"​



The Seran Islands Alliance, or SIA, is a cultural and economic union of nations within the Seran Islands Chain located in the upper north-east reaches of The North Pacific and shall primarily deal with and discuss matters such as border regulations, economic and trade relations, cultural festivals, state visitors and other topics as found neccessary by the member states. All countries or colonies within the Seran Islands Chain are invited to join.

Welcome to SIA, will your representative to the Alliance be Sphan K'ter or shall another person be taking that role?

(OOC: For all other nations that are invited, if you do choose to accept please list who your representative will be. Also, the Federation of Kalti shall be represented by Solveig Nightsong, the Ball den Chomhairle (Council Member) of Finance and current Uachtarán (President) of the Federation.)

The United States of Cronaal formally accepts their invitation to the Seran Islands Alliance, and also assumes it's creation is born out of competition with the Central-Southern CCC. With great appreciation, Lara Kray herself appoints her own cousin, Ade Kray, as Ambassador-to-Seran and hopes that she will promote Crol interests abroad.​

The Republic of Tolima is not convinced joining this organisation would be in its best interests for now and thus respectfully declines the invitation at this time.

As far as actions go, the Federation of Kalti is willing to send humanitarian food supplies and a team of agricultural experts to help get Cronaal back on its feet.
 
As long as this alliance remains cultural and economic, and does not impose any military commitments upon its members, we can send representative Doris Aconi on behalf of both Arcadia Bay and Sadakoyama.
 
Yeraennus would wish to request stances from existing members on the Plembobrian-McMasterdonian conflict.

Yeraennus wishes to remain neutral in the conflict, as does Kalti, as they stated previously.
 
This alliance has never been nor will ever have any military intention, it is solely for cultural and economic purposes.
We have the North Pacific Treaty Organization, the Democratic Union, the Helmebaine Alliance and the Faibuaizu Alliance if you are looking for a fight.
 
Excellent. This is what we were hoping. Militarily tying ourselves between political giants is an unwise decision.

Sta'nh Ye'ra​

Concerned by the threats of the Imperium Augustum against the Rhuvish state and peoples, Sphan K'ter, as leader of the Sovereign Socialist Nation of the Stank of Yeraennus, would like to request that the SIA authorize the deployment of military police personnel to protect potentially persecuted Rhuvish citizens. Noting that:

1) The Seran Islands Alliance is not a military alliance, therefore 1a) It holds no jurisdiction on the military involvement in foreign affairs of sovereign nations within the alliance and 1b) Yeraennus is by these terms free to support the State of Rhuvanland without authorization.

2) Yeraennus does not support the actions taken by the Rhuvish government in bias against and persecution of certain groups, or its unjustified expansion of borders, but 2a) wishes to stop potential Genocide by the Imperium against the Rhuvish people's by providing military protection of the peoples of Rhuvanland. 2b) These personnel shall not act in the interest of the Rhuvish government beyond protecting their people, and shall remain under the command of the SIA or Yeraennus with their only mission being too protect innocent civilians.
 
As the Seran Islands Alliance is not a military alliance, your hands are not bound on whether you wish to intervene in Rhuvish affairs or not; that choice is entirely up to you. Should military action be required, or sanctions for that matter, both the NPTO and the DU are equipped to deal with such a situation. As always, the Federation of Kalti shall maintain it's stance of non-intervention in foreign affairs unless the situation is a direct threat to the national security of the Federation. Having said that, should asylum seekers or refugees show up on our border, we shall not turn them away in their hour of need.
