The Auburn Festival

This thread is the OOC to the festival, I will lay down some basic information on what I have planned in the OP and also smaller notes.

I'd already planned a ceremony where I'd allow citizens of Cronaal who'd relatives had died in the Smithworks explosion would carve their names into a large, mirrored stone in the center of the large green infront of the Kray Towers, which stand tall and mighty above the city of Ganjarius, a large mountain behind them.
Graves will be constructed for many of the soldiers lost during the many events of the saga nearer to the towers whilst the green itself is kept clear besides the mound that the stone sits upon and a path. Inside the mound is a small museum-like area with a scaled model of Smithworks, toilets, some other displays and a small booth for Wolfsea, and any others, to give out souvenirs or reminders.
The grieving and minor speeches will take place during the day whilst the official speech, comments from other foreign leaders and the festival itself will take place during the evening and night. The festival itself will begin with the ending of the foreign speeches at about 8PM and will contain loud music, a light show and fireworks that shall continue until the following morning.
The following morning shall be a formal gathering of the attending leaders in the West Kray Tower's lower floors, where they will also be accommodated, and shall include a small meal and time for the foreign leaders to converse. They are also free to explore Ganjarius whenever they wish so.

I'm sorry, but if you're going to open this to the citizens, someone is going to carve something inappropriate. Just have the government make a list of people who were presumed dead after the explosion and carve it in.

Can we just have something nice for once

This.

PS: You lost your citizenship. You may wanna reapply as Melfi.

The Forum d'Entesa will be attending this event to honor all the lives that were lost in the conflict. They will be accompanied by a security team of twenty members from the Guardians of the Confederation.

The Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, the MOFAAC, and the MOD are all coming.

Acting Khan Sera will be in attendance along with Elder Garvin and Grand Legate Goltah (I'd advise earplugs, Garvin has no indoor voice...), also joining will be Chaplin-Captain Augustus Blake and a small contingent of the Templarswith the battle pennants of the vessels lost during the invasion.

Kannex:
What happened to the Khan?
He's on six months leave to spend time with his newborn daughter and wife, it's pretty much the only time off he's had in five years and likely the only time off he'll have for another five years so the Grand Khural are reluctant to recall him. He's an utter workaholic so getting him to take any personal time is a miracle in and of itself.

Why exactly would Malachit be welcome at the Auburn Festival? He of all people shouldn't be allowed to come.

Syrixia:

As he was the one in charge of the Nebulan forces, he should be allowed to attend.

Hmph. Alright then. But don't expect him to get handshakes and smiles, 's all I'm sayin'.

*Prepares a thousand ways to wipe Azurus Malachit off the face of the Earth like the imperialist filth he is.*

All I've seen from you and Syrixia is the answer 'no' with no evidence or reasoning behind why he shouldn't attend. While I don't necessarily agree with his methods or actions, he was the former leader of Nebula and by extension the one in charge of their military during the conflict that this celebration is for. If you (and by extension Syrixia) can give me a good sound reason on why he should not be there, I will reconsider my stance but for right now I'm on the side of Nebula.

He resigned. He pulled his forces out of North Cronaal when he could have left them in and caused more deaths. He didn't have to step down, either; nothing was forcing him to.

Perhaps I didn't make this clear; but I think we should let Malachit attend. All I'm saying is he shouldn't expect smiles and handshakes from Syrixia or Kannex. Maybe Syrixia could give him a handshake, but meh.

Let's not let that ruin the festival, though.

I don't know. Even without Nebula and their influence, I still feel that Syrixia and Kannex would have found a way to drag the entire region into war.

Without Nebula, a conflict on such a scale would've never started. At least, not on Syrixia's watch.

But I digress. Anything else to talk about or shall we begin the festival?

Nebula is coming but if I see a fight scene between Nursson and Malachit during the socialisation period on day two, Cronaal guard will be hitting you both with batons and Lark will be swearing a lot.

If Nursson and Malachit get into a fight, I'm going to have to take a picture of that, post it on the Pigletville Times with the headline: Chit Went Down At The Auburn Festival; Both Delegates Saw Red and Blue.

I'm actually planning the situation of what'd happen if they do fight, (physically punch and kick). Lara will swear alot and then kick them out of the nation.

Trust me, the media in the Confederation would love for Nursson and Malachit to get into a fight. It would only cement the opinion that both Syrixia and Nebula only know the path of war and not peace... that is unless peace and diplomacy are beat into them.

Nebula:
I'm not going to start it, I'm going to provoke him into it. :)
Nursson is an old man. He wouldn't harm a fly. I don't want any physical fighting, this is a celebration of peace.

Kannex:
Nebula:
Just remember, Malachit's post-AFI. You do not mess with him.
That doesn't say much. Do you know how many AFI schmucks we've captured or killed?
Ladies, ladies, calm down. Let's start the festival. Syrixia will be bringing tea!
