QUICK NEWS FLASH!​

BALAMB- It's official! By declaration of Parliament today, the Syrixian Armed Forces have been rebranded by the Ministry of Defense as the State Assault Federal Forces, or SAFF. Unlike the old Imperial-style forces, SAFF is, quote, a "new, sleek, and innovative approach to Syrixian military organization." SAFF will retain its old arbitrary divisions, and will stay as one of the three branches of the Ministry of Defense, the other being the CIT; Syrixia's intelligence agency, and the SPF; Syrixia's peacekeeping forces. Sleek new uniforms and state-of-the-art weaponry epitomize the new, more modern main military, SAFF; among other things. The first SAFF operation is taking place in Cronaal, following the declaration of war against North Cronaal due to the North Cronaals' slaughter of a group of Syrixian and Seblandish peacekeepers.

The Eumenorian government would like to enquire of the Syrixians why they have chosen to give their soldiers maroon uniforms?
We are perplexed that you have not chosen the much more sensible high-tech green/khaki camouflage available.
 
They are ceremonial uniforms, however we are expanding on camouflage too. We are making camo uniforms for nearly all environments. The troops in North Cronaal, for example, are wearing mountain camo.
 
(OOC: Do you realize that the grammatical construction of "State Assault Federal Forces" is "Federal Forces for the purpose of Assaulting States"?

The military has been simplified and modernized. More camouflage has been added to the military wardrobe, ranks have been simplified, and weapons upgraded to the latest technology. Robots, such as small, camouflage bomb-planting drones, for example, are also being produced for the military.
