Gay Rights have been legalized many years ago. Homosexuality is legal. I have no idea what you are talking about.
Marriage is for two people to love and reproduce.

(OOC: Sytarenne, this is an IC thread. The US Constitution doesn't exist ICly. RL nations don't exist canonically in the world of TNP. Kannex was referring to their own nation repealing sodomy laws.)

(OOC: Um, no, sorry, you can't just break canon just because you want to. The US isn't some beacon of freedom or peace. In fact, historically, the US is the one that delayed the formation of a UN-like organization: the League of Nations failed because the US rejected it, which in turn was a factor that led to WWII. There are plenty of US-like nations, like Syrixia, in TNP. And just because homosexuality was illegal doesn't make them bad; they are, after all, learning, based on the fact that they repealed the sodomy laws. You know, like how the US isn't necessarily a bad government just because they allowed slavery in the past.)

(And massacred Native Americans. Also I believe that for over a decade Indiana was run by the Klan. And the bit with the Japanese internment camps...)

They just legalized Homosexuality right now, US illegalized slavery more then 100 years ago.

WWII was when the Germans annexing countries while the UK and France would wage war with them if they continued.
The League of Nations would've never stopped WW2. Heck, the Germans still haven't signed the Legit Peace treaty for WW2 and are secretly occupied by the UN.

No US would've made the world different. No World Wars would've won, No peace, Little Freedom. The US made Freedom of Speech, Press, and Religion with the Constitution. If that didn't happen there would be a small government and a King of America who did what he wanted.

Syrixia is nowhere near like the US. Just because he posts everyday and does nothing but make alliances and declare war, doesn't make him the "US of TNP" because there are rules everywhere saying that you can't claim too much or you can't RP to make yourself strong etc.

I'll remove the US bit. It's ridiculous anyone why any of these countries have anything to do with Gay Rights and Women Rights because they already did have 100 years ago.

While as an American I firmly believe that my country is a beacon of hope and freedom for, at the very least, its 319 inhabitants, I don't go around waving it in people's faces. For one thing, not everyone here is an American, and for another, it is naive to glorify America without noting and accepting our country's historical and current flaws.

At any rate, the mention of the United States is foolish. There is no United States of America in IC canon. I'm speaking of Kannex, and Kannex is a socially conservative society comparable (in that sense) to Japan or Brazil. Kannex does not reflect my OOC political views. Even if it did, I don't see how it was so important to break canon to rudely call me out on it.
