Overview
The Monarchy of Guslantis (German:Monarchie von Guslantis) is a Socialist Democracy in The North Pacific. The capital and seat of government is Pigletville, being also the most populated city.
Guslantis is a nation of wealth and peaceful negotiations. Though it has had its share of hard times, it has endured through the suffering of its people in victory. The people of Guslantis are in a prime state of life, with the average citizen being between the ages of 25-35. Sexual relations are encouraged throughout the nation, as can be seen by the Nudity Act of 2014. The elderly are unheard of, and the Guinea Pig is treated like royalty. The national religion is Guslism, which has its largest temple in Pigletville.
Creation
The creation of Guslantis was centered around one guinea pig. When the settlers that would become the Guslant founders came upon the land, they met a small Abyssinian guinea pig. He was so cute, and resembled a tiny little piglet. However, his name could not be Piglet, as that was too demeaning to his character. His name was to be Augustus, and be a strong and powerful leader. The women despised the name, and the two parties fought over what to name this cute and fluffy thing. In the end, they decided to name their national animal, Piglet-Augustus, and form the nation of Guslantis around the guinea pig, Gus. They would worship him like a god, and create the temples of Guslism around him.
History
After the quarrel of the first guinea pig, the people founded the then-capital, Augustus Town. It was a small settlement, and no one ever thought that the settlement would push off into the mainland.
The settlers spoke German, and back then, would only travel from Augustus Town to get water or fish in the harbor of the town. Life was good for the Guslants, but it would be hundreds of years before they would ever become the massive city they would be today.
They founded Carrotopolis, which would now be known for its space center and technologies, and then went to found Pigletville. The women of Augustus Town, who preferred the name Piglet for their guinea pig, decided to honor him again with the naming of Pigletville as their capital. The men thought this was a terrible idea, but did not want to fight with the women again, knowing they would lose.
With a new capital, the city shone bright, and became the jewel of Guslantis. With the beginning of a new nation, the Guslants began their march toward legendary status in their region.
Modern Times
Today in Guslantis, you can take one of the government monorails to locations throughout the entire nation, making stops at the famous Thomas Building, Jacque Square, and William Plaza.
The temperature of Guslantis stays at a cool and comfortable 20 C, and if you get a little warm, you can always go skinny dipping in one of Augustus Town's beaches.
