DUNORION- REUNIFICATION AT LAST! After a terrifying civil war in the nation known as Rhuvanland, Syrixia has at last achieved its goal of bringing East Rhuvanland, which had separated with its western counterpart, back to economic safety, while the the government of Kannex has been helping West Rhuvanland rebuild after the invasion by Brigade 2056. Due to this, ongoing talks have been underway by Kannex and Syrixia to unify the West and East, who both also support reunification. Finally, they have been completed and Rhuvanland has been officially reunified with a new Parliament and a new structure.

The new Federal Republic of Rhuvanland will consist of several states and a capital district. The new capital shall be inland from the old coastal capital of Dunorion and will be called Alzenstadt. The head of government has been given the title of Chancellor while the head of state will be a politically neutral President, presiding over ceremonies and other things of the like. Due to the agreement between Kannex and Syrixia, the first Chancellor must be an easterner and the first President a westerner. After yesterday's general elections, Agnes Liesel of the Democratic Party has been elected Chancellor and Franz Erhard, a prominent moderate in the world of Rhuvish politics, has been elected President.

Following her election as Chancellor, Frau Liesel delivered a memorable speech in the new capital, Alzenstadt. At the very end, she reaffirmed her aims of peace and reconstruction for the new Rhuvanland. "This city represents the union of west and east." she stated. "It represents peace for all Rhuvish, and is a new foundation for the rebuilding of our great nation. We have been through economic chaos, invasions, and controversies and we have passed the test. I vow to continue this union, and leave no Rhuvishman behind." Following the speech, she conversed with the former West Rhuvish authorities and helped form the Conservative Party, with Heidi Rhein becoming of Leader of the Opposition.

She then stated her intentions to apply to the Helmebaine Alliance as well as the North Pacific Treaty Organization, both receiving very positive approvals. Parliament has been at work creating state governments for all 7 states, and election results are now just starting to roll in. She has also stated that the capital district of Alzenstadt will have the privileges of voting as well, as part of her "No Rhuvishman Left Behind" policy. Rhuvanland has also pursued alliances with both Kannex and Syrixia following reunification. All in all, Rhuvanland is quickly shaping up to improve very well and become a united, stable nation once more.

Well, it's better than crazy old West Rhuvanland running around. Things are looking up for peace.

The Kannexan Empire welcomes the reunification and hopes that a solid foundation for peace and harmony will be built by the United Republic of Rhuvanland. Aussenminister Jurgen Reina congratulates Heidi Rhein of West Rhuvanland and Agnes Liesel of the Democratic Party for this accomplishment.

The terms of the reunification are as follows:

• The two Rhuvanlands as of present, the Free Republic of Rhuvanland (West) and the Protectorate of Rhuvanland (East), join to form an independent United Republic of Rhuvanland.
• This new republic will be independent, in name and in deed, from all foreign influence. There may not be any foreigners in Rhuvish civil service, elected positions, or military posts.
• Kannexan and Syrixian military advisers will be attached to the Rhuvish military.
• Kannex and Syrixia will each pledge economic aid to Rhuvanland in the form of loans.
• Kannex and Syrixia will each own up to 7% of certain Rhuvish state-owned industries, such as the railroads. This figure may be adjusted upon the agreement of all three countries.
• Kannex and Syrixia will aid Rhuvanland in reforming its economic policies and advising its industrialization.
• The new Rhuvish republic will be a federal republic, divided into several states given limited autonomy.
• The new Rhuvish republic will feature a bicameral legislature, consisting of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. The Chamber of Deputies will be, as mentioned, determined by mixed-member proportion, but the Senate seats will be equally divided among the federal states and be determined by single-transferable-vote.
• Cabinet posts must include members of the top three political parties represented in the legislature.
• The Chancellor will be elected from Parliament and appointed by a politically neutral President.
• The President will serve a maximum of two consecutive five-year terms.
• The united Rhuvanland will maintain bonds of friendship and alliance with both Syrixia and Kannex. Rhuvanland will be integrated, if not fully initiated, into the Helmebaine mutual defense system.
• The President and Chancellor will be from different sections of the country.
• The new capital will be Alzenstadt.

The Most Serene Republic of Syrixia echoes the congratulations of the Kannexan Empire and wishes peace upon the people of the new Federal Republic of Rhuvanland. We are happy to see the Rhuvish people are united once more.

It will be nice to negotiate with Rhuvanland on better terms, with a more reasonable government in office.
