- He/Him, They/Them
I'm not a citizen, so I rightly can't post in the elections subforum, but if you are going to insist on talking about something I am involved in within TNP then I'm going to have to speak up.
Roleplay is more than just the Democratic Union and the NPTO. It is more than just those two organisations and if you want to 'promote' roleplay then focus on the whole, not just these two exclusive clubs. If these two organisations cannot stand on their own, then their is no reason for them to exist.
Roleplay is part of culture. It just is. Don't use control over roleplay as a political tool to reward your allies or placate rivals. All that will do is hurt roleplay.
Roleplay can effectively buff culture events - if we ever have those again - by adding roleplay aspects to the event or by making the event entirely in-character. I'm talking balls/banquets/etc.
A roleplay week or any other period of time is not going to work to promote roleplay as effectively as a constant thing. Make sure its included in welcoming tgs, make sure the mentors in the Home Affairs department are directing those who might be interested in it to the right places. You could even try to identify roleplayers on the main NS site who might be interested in joining in our roleplay (this would come with potential political issues).
