From : DavidLand Space Agency,

After the delay of DavidLand's own rocket platforms, and the failure to find a replacement so far, the DavidLand Space Agency will accept offers from any nation or corporation in the North Pacific to complete the launch of the RTHIS satellite.

The final date by which tenders will be accepted is April 21, 2015 (subject to extension). A decision will then be made on a later date. Candidates with a proven track record will be preferred, and cost and availability will also be factored in.

*Make sure to describe the rocket platform, including its capabilities and its launch record.

Along with development of missile and rocket engine technology for military applications, our Space Division also caters to commercial applications for our space program. We have successfully launched satellites for various businesses within the Allied States as well as we're the primer space program of the Allied States. Our Falcon 9 v1.1 would be able to launch your satellite into low earth orbit (LEO) for $61.2 million.

We invite your representatives to an all expense paid tour of our launch pad in the Allied States and to see our Falcon 9 v1.1 up close.

The Falcon 9 v1.1 has been launched a total of 11 times so far with no failures. We look forward to making your RTHIS satellite's its 12th successful launch. The picture below is the Falcon 9 v1.1 launching an observation and weather satellite.

From : DavidLand Space Agency,

We appreciate the offer; however, we do have some concern about the launch vehicle that you have presented. We fear that the Falcon 9 v1.1 rocket will have difficulty launching 8,752 Kilograms into the target super-synchronous 250 x 45,600 Km orbit.

Therefore we would appreciate more info on the capabilities of the rocket, or potentially, on another launch vehicle that can launch a satellite this heavy.

When you say, super-synchronous orbit, do you mean geosynchronous transfer orbit, aka GTO?

From : DavidLand Space Agency,

Correct. A super-synchronous orbit is the same as a GTO orbit; however, it has a higher apogee to reduce delta-v to geostationary orbit. I believe the Falcon 9 rocket is limited to 5,000 kg to such an orbit, whereas the payload for tender is 8,750 kg.

(OOC):Your engine stats are completely off. The Merlin engines on SpaceX produce only 716kN of thrust. Also having 18 engines is a bit excessive, but if it works it works Russia once made a rocket with about 56 nozzles. The Isp is also hugeeee. In best conditions you're lucky to get over 400. Burn times should also be...maybe half to 3/4th what they are.

Edit: Im going off based on assuming that 1 engine produces 11,000kN of thrust or am I completely off?

Thank you for helping me out. I change the specification of the thrusts, specific impulse (What you mean? I presume?) and burn time.

That was for all the engines produce 11,000 kN.
First Stage:
  • Engines: 18 Marins.
  • Thrust: 12,888 kN. (716 kN x 18 = 12,888 kN.)
  • Specific Impulse:
    • Sea Level: 400> S.(In Best Condition.)
    • Vacuum: 400> S.(In Best Condition.)
  • Burn Time: 135 Seconds.

Second Stage:

    • Vacuum: 400> S.(In Best Condition.)
  • Burn Time: 282 Seconds.

Thank you for the applications. They have bee received and will be processed. Meanwhile, the DavidLand Space Agency announces the deadline has been extended to April 21, 2015.

(ooc : you realize that your rockets don't have to be based on real world examples, right? If you want, just make up some statistics, preferably achievable ones -- for example, don't tell me a 100,000 kg rocket will get 20,000 kg to orbit -- and a basic description. Of course, this has to be canon to your nation / company's space program)

The recent delays in our domestic rocket program have forced us to select a foreign launch service for the RTHIS satellite.
The DavidLand Space Agency has selected The United States of New Sekai's Farukon rocket.

$140 million will be provided for launch by August 1, 2015. The satellite will be transported to New Sekai by a DavidLand Air-Force AN-300 transport craft.
