Cormac for Delegate of The North Pacific

Hey everyone. I'm running for Delegate. I know, I know, you're thinking: Why should we elect this guy? Well, I have some awesome ideas.

Constitutional Reform

As your Delegate, I will unilaterally dissolve the Constibillicode and bring The North Pacific under the rule of my benevolent (mostly, probably, maybe) autocracy. You can't get a simpler constitutional reform proposal than that!

WA Affairs

I will obviously withdraw us from the WALL treaty to escape the influence of imperialist subversives. Not to worry, though, TNP's WA votes will still go to good use! There's a 100% chance we'll still impact the WA, because I'll be voting early every time without the burden of having to hold a forum vote first. Efficient!

Foreign Affairs

I truly excel in this area. I will nullify our treaties with Albion, Balder, and Europeia -- again, to escape the clutches of those imperialist subversives -- and I will immediately declare war on Balder without consulting anyone. On the other hand, I expect that relations with Lazarus, the New Pacific Order, and The Rejected Realms, as well as other defender regions, will be tremendously strengthened under my administration.

Defense

Under my administration, defense will truly become defense. I will appoint a defender Minister of Defense and purge all raiders from the NPA. The NPA will only defend, including efforts to liberate Balder in order to execute the aforementioned declaration of war.

Communications

The Northern Lights will become the preeminent defender newspaper, surpassing The Rejected Times on the Indeperialist Butthurt Scale (unsurprisingly sharing an acronym with Irritable Bowel Syndrome) by at least ten points within the first two weeks of my administration.

Culture

I suck at culture, to be honest, but hopefully other people will have some good ideas if they don't end up on the wrong side of the coup constitutional reform and get purged.

Home Affairs

I'll be abolishing this ministry. We don't need mentors; who wants noobs anyway?

Education

The university will be central to my efforts to indoctrinate the masses. Well, the masses that aren't purged, anyway.

Flemingovianism

Flemingovianism will remain the state religion. Established religion is of paramount importance to me.

Unless Romanoffia wants to hand me the password to Novare Res real quick before SillyString gets enough endos to take the Delegacy, in which case this election won't continue and I will ensure there is no state religion under the new regime. Freedom of religion is of paramount importance to me.

Thank you. If elected, I will do my best to honor Gatesville's as yet unfulfilled promise to terminate TNP's interests, by replacing them with my own.
 
I for one welcome our new defender overlords. Although unfortunately, I'm probably number one of that list to be purged.
