As McMasterdonia and SillyString have announced their campaigns for the 2015 January Elections, I've decided to join them in an early campaign preview. First of all, I will be officially declaring my candidacy in the Speaker race. While I know that I have been in my current position of Deputy Speaker for a short while, it is not the first time I've had a position in the government, or in the office. Back when I started, Democratic Donkeys and Zyvet brought before me the offer of Deputy Speaker if they won the election for Speaker. I decided that I would, and so I did. I left the Speaker's office to pursue the Deputy Minister position for Culture and Entertainment, and CTE'd soon after. It was stupid, and I totally regret doing that. However, I was given a second chance by Lord Nwahs, and I am now Deputy Speaker once again. By January I will be very experienced in the role and I think that it will be time for me to attempt to become Speaker of the Regional Assembly. The RA means a lot to me, and I wouldn't trade being with it for anything. I can't wait for the campaigning, and I hope you vote Bootsie for Speaker!

I wasnt around when you were around. (Though when I joined I heard of your legendary status -- people missed you and thought you did a good job) when I came Zyvet was speaker and Olvern was deputy...I helped serve as deputy for a few months.

It is great to see you back...

But how is the RA sure you won't dissapear again?

RL really affected me during the time that I left. I will spare the voters of that, and will also admit to my mistake in that matter. I do hope that they see that I am worthy of the position and trust me in my promise that I will not CTE again. The North Pacific means a lot to me, and I will not fail them in that again. Thank you for your question, PaulWallLibertarian42, and I hope you vote for Bootsie in the upcoming elections.

You have a previous reputation for contributing successfully to this region, I keep that in mind, but it will be interesting to see, I feel the current speaker has done a good job and if he seeks another term would be willing to reelect him, if he does not run again, I will consider voting for you.

How would you rate the current speaker 1/10 with one being horrible and 10 being awesome and why?

I want to first begin by saying that I do not want this to be taken as speaking ill of Lord Nwahs. He is a good friend, and a great Speaker, I do not want to step on anyone's toes. That disclaimer being said, I would probably rate him at a solid 8/10. He is a good Speaker, and knows what he is doing really well. However, he does lack on closing the votes on time, and making sure that all RA members feel welcome. Like I said, this is meant as a true rating, as this is what you wanted me to answer you, and it is no offense to Lord Nwahs or the Speaker's Office. I thank you once again for your question, and feel free to ask me any questions on the IRC any time that I am on!

Could you give a quick summary of your history in TNP for those who may not know you so well (like me :P )

To PaulWallLibertarian42:
My colors for the entire forum would be

Administrators
Cabinet
Judicial Branch
Global Moderators
Speaker
Deputy Speakers
Regional Assembly

The Diplomat and Foreign Envoys would stay the same, and that would be my hypothetical color scheme of the forum. In addition, TNP Blue would become TNP Red. Granted the hypothetical question that Eluvatar would even let me change all of the colors.
To Andrew:
I began the forum in October of 2013, I do believe. (It's in my avatar box, if you want to be specific.) Though I was not quite involved in the democratic and legislative side on the forum at that point, I was still active and involved. When I first got involved, it was with the Court Justices, and I ran in like one election (and lost) before I realized that was not for me! However, at the next Speaker election it was DD versus Zyvet. Both knew me quite well, and knew I would do anything to get more involved in the beloved TNP. Both offered me the Deputy Speaker position, and when Zyvet run, I became his deputy. I served there for a while, before moving to the Ministry of Culture and Entertainment. I then CTE'd and reformed a few weeks ago. Even though I was gone, my passion for the forum and to my mother region has not been lost.
