COE vs SillyString for Attorney General

Discord
COE#7110
I am running for Attorney General because I firmly believe that The North Pacific is a region, and it deserves an Attorney General. If elected, I would be that Attorney General. I think it's time someone had the courage to stand up and say "I am against those things that everybody hates!"

Indeed they do.

Many people have asked me where I stand on the issue of justice. Let me state now, perhaps uncontroversially, that I am for it.

See, there she goes again. Just plain telling the truth. Watch out for that one.

If I were elected, I would make sure to read complaints and, if necessary, file indictments with the court. Then, I would prosecute those cases. That is the job of the Attorney General, which is what I would be if I am elected.

I havent seen any of you declare or accept your candicacy in the Candidate decleration thread. When can we expect you to make this official?

And when will Silly be making a thread of their own?

My opponent's wild campaign promises may contain a kernel of truth, but don't be fooled when it comes time to eat the popcorn!

SillyString is currently Chief Justice, which is not the kind of Attorney General I would be if I were elected. In fact, it's a separate office altogether. Can SillyString be trusted to be an Attorney General? So far, she is not one.

COE's countless and indivisible years of experience in this office far outnumber my own, it is true. But when you, the voter, look at his performance as Attorney General in recent times, can you truly say this is a man you want to return to power?

So far I like CoE better, I have always been in awe of his avatar. The Gavel coming down in the little guy. It amazed me how, with that Avatar, he was not in a position with the Judical system of TNP.(in the months I have been here atleast, I realize he has served in previous terms in previous years. Previously)

I have a question for COE, "In admitting phenomenon, what is true?"

I have a question for SillyString, "Whenever there is any question, one's mind is confused. What is the matter?"

A couple of questions for both candidates:

Next year's hemlines: up or down?

If you were too choose as your election song "I am a walrus," would Paulwall accuse you of election fraud because you aren't?

The truth, of course. I am 100% certain that I have not missed the point of this question.

UP!

YES!

Up or down, up or down. You know we hear a lot about up or down and how they're always 100% opposed to one another. While I am always 100% opposed to my opponent, I think there is room for compromise on this question. It is an important question and we must consider all of the... angles. So in conclusion I hope that resolves your inquiry.

I assure you sir, I am friends with some very fine walruses and they are all lovely people. So even if I am not, myself, personally, a walrus, that's no reason to exclude them from our political processes.

Being an Oligarchy Approved Candidate, what will you do to apply the laws in accordance to the theories of favouritism?

By that do you mean, "I demand that everyone be against those things that I hate"?

Oh, and you didn't answer my first question.

While I admit that I have engaged in some light levity during this intense campaign, in order to highlight the differences between myself and my stoic, serious, and above all boring opponent, I think it is important to set aside the silliness for just a moment in order to address this atrocity head-on.

It is criminally reckless, sir, to accuse a person like myself[note]A self-professed high-ranking member in the secretive and illustrious IRCabal; please see this thread for more details.[/note] of any sort of affiliation with the Oligarchy[note]Well-known to be a bitter rival of the IRCabal; see the phenomenal investigative journalism in the final article of this publication for more details.[/note].

When they find my entrails strung up like Christmas lights, know that you are responsible for my untimely dismemberment!

People need to be made aware that "oligarchy" is a sinister anagram of "gairlochy", which is a rather pretty little village in Scotland where I once flirted with the daughter of a guesthouse keeper and utterly failed to get off with her.

It was also, historically, a centre of Jacobite conspiracy.

Perhaps the scots are trying to manipulate TNP elections?
