My fellow TNPers,

I have been nominated for the position of Attorney-General. I am both surprised and humbled. I would not have accepted this nomination if I did not truly believe myself capable of fulfilling the demands of that office.

I have only been on this forum for two months, but in those two months, I have become deeply involved in the political affairs of The North Pacific -- both by studying the existing laws, and proposing new laws to the Regional Assembly. I have read and re-read the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Legal Code. I have read several court cases, and have familiarized myself with the North Pacific judicial system. I also serve in two ministries, as well as in The North Pacific Army. If I am elected, I will be committed to fairness, justice, and equality for all the nations in this region. I will ensure that complaints presented to me are considered in a fair and proper manner, with respect for the involved nations' Constibillicode rights.

I, Plembobria humbly entreat you for your vote in this election.

Plembobria for Attorney-General!

Great to see you running! Just a couple questions.

1) What Court ruling from the last term do you most disagree with, and why?

2) Which crime do you think would be hardest to successfully prosecute, based on how it is worded in the Legal Code?

McMasterdonia:
Why do you want to run for AG?
Because I was nominated. And I can.

I like you. You ask good questions. If you do this IRL you must be a model citizen. I don't think I disagree with any court rulings. I'll keep looking, though.

Espionage.

Gracius Maximus:
Are you still here?
Did you miss me?

Espionage.
Why is that?

As for RL, I generally forget to vote. :P
Espionage requires quite a bit of evidence to prove. More than many of the other crimes.

You do know it's election day right? :P
punk d:
What previous AG do you think did the best job and why?
I haven't been here that long.I haven't read every single case in the history of TNP. I don't know of every single AG that has served. So I'm not really prepared to answer your question.

Who do you feel is your strongest opponet, why?

Have you had a chance to review any recent complaints filed to the AGs office? What is your opinion on how the current AG has handled them? In their short term filling the special election vacancy, Did they totally bungle them? Or handle it sufficently yet could have possibly been better? If you had been AG this term, what would you have done differently, and will do differently in the upcoming term if elected?

Thank you.

GM, obviously. He has been the AG before.

I have read the some of the complaints to the AG's office. I don't have much of a problem with how the current AG has handled them. He has done pretty well and -- if iam elected -- I may even ask his advice.
