Description: WA Security Council Resolution #144: Liberate Liberal Haven shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: The Security Council,

Seeing that Liberal Haven was liberated in order to strike down a raider-created password to allow natives to reclaim their home.

Noting that Liberal Haven has since been invaded at times, due to the native-elected delegate's inability to create a regional password for security. Because of the raiders, the native community of Liberal Haven wish this liberation removed in order to help re-found the region, which is impossible with the liberation in place.

Asking that this liberation be lifted in order to help the re-founding process in order to give Liberal Haven residents their right to a secure home.

Finalizing that the liberation was needed at the time of invasion, but has served its purpose for the region. Now, it remains against the will of the regional natives, and is hurting the region. Due to the desire of Liberal Haven residents to repeal the liberation,

This Resolution Hereby Repeals "Liberate Liberal Haven".

On the surface, this looks like a well-intended resolution. It claims to have native support, and it presents itself as a necessary measure in order for the native community of Liberal Haven to be able to refound and safeguard the region.

However, the devil is in the details, and in this case in the dubious identity of the author. [nation=short]Frattastan[/nation], former Delegate of The Rejected Realms, has posted in the NS Security Council forums to present evidence that the author nation belongs to someone from the region The Doom Squad. The Doom Squad are a group who repeatedly tried to grief Liberal Haven, in collaboration with Nazi-affiliated groups. If this allegation is true, then this resolution is another deceitful attempt by The Doom Squad to destroy Liberal Haven. The evidence posted by Frattastan is not conclusive, but it is compelling.

For these reasons, we strongly recommend a vote against this resolution.

This goes to vote tomorrow. Given that the vote on the other SC resolution is pretty much set, I thought we could start early.

Given that the natives are for this, I am incline to support it. There is a strong chance that the region will be raided again, but it's the natives' job to assess the risk.

I take back my original vote. Frattastan provided some information yesterday in the SC thread which indicates that the nation submitting this resolution may be a sleeper from the region Doom Squad, which in the past raided Liberal Haven in cooperation with Nazis.
