New Influence Rules and politics in GCR

With new influence level rules and 6 months cycles many old residents of GCRS including TNP have lost their once untouchable positions and influence how has this changed game play and what is your opinion regarding long time affect ?

I think it is an annoying change. I would like to return to service in the NPA when I am no longer Delegate, but the reality is that would weaken the Security Council and my influence would drop significantly when I drop WA for a period of time....

I've managed to increase my influence level, or at least hold onto it in a relatively flat curve. The rule changes mean that the rule of the SC is going to become more important to the security of the region.
