The North Pacific Diplomatic Corps
Representing our great region abroad
Join the Diplomatic Corps!
The North Pacific is a great region, but it is not the only region in NationStates. There are about 17000 other regions, and with about four dozens of them we have "formal diplomatic relations".
This means that we have exchanged embassies as a means of recognition and communication, and use them to inform each other of what is going on in our respective regions. How we update our embassies abroad is critical for how we are perceived, and well-maintained embassies are a major factor in creating a robust interregional image for our region.
Of course, all this does not happen magically. Everything functions thanks to the hard word of those Regional Assembly members that have volunteered to serve in the Diplomatic Corps as Ambassadors. There are ten of them so far, and we are looking for more!
Being an Ambassador is a nice way to get exposure to different regional cultures, meet new people, and make a name for yourself interregionally. And, of course, there is the satisfaction of representing your region abroad!
