That is, if you even really are a unicorn-
 
If no thing was nothing, then the idea of "nothing" itself would surely not exist, right? But if nothing was nothing, then nothing is something because nonexistence is technically a form of existence, but having it exist or be a thing would conflict against the idea of nothing or nonexistence itself.

Therefore, the concept of "nothingness" is philosophically impossible.
