Regional Fair 2013, Voronia
Summit of Leaders

The geographically small but densely populated city-state of Voronia was buzzing with activity in preparation for the start of the inaugural Regional Fair. Streets and parks were cordoned off and swept by police, in preparation for the booths that nations would show off their cultures in. Dozens of large tents were erected for this purpose. It was hoped by many that the fair would encourage greater cooperation and exchange between the nations of the North Pacific. Citizens of the city were looking forward to the festivities that would be occurring over the coming days.

Across town in the luxurious Oceana Hotel, President Oliver Pendero was sitting at the head of the round conference table that would serve as the meeting place of the Summit of Leaders portion of the Regional Fair. It was to be a meeting of any and all interested heads of state and government from around the region, to discuss common issues and learn about each other. He was working with a few aides, preparing his statements for the opening ceremony, he had just finished the open letter of invitation. He handed it to his one of his aides.

"Henry, have Foreign Affairs publish this."

"Yes sir." Henry took the following letter to the Foreign Affairs office, where it was published online and sent to the other nations of the North Pacific.
