I'm almost surprised by the application, as in his earlier days he preferred to stay away from internal politics.

But I agree with GBM, FEC, and Blackshear, it's high time he came in from the cold.
 
Right, that's everyone bar Blue Wolf who has commented, so I'll leave this open another 12 hours or so before I go to a vote.
 
Ok, well I PM'd everyone originally when I opened this discussion, and the vast majority of members, bar Blue Wolf, have replied, so I'd like to motion that we bring this to a vote.

Do I have a second?
 
He's old-old guard and while I'm not as nostalgic as Gross about DD's potential acceptance, I think he would make an appropriate choice none-the-less.
