This is sad: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...litician-in-Pakistan/articleshow/21881058.cms

A secular female politician from the North West region of Pakistan has been killed after terrorists stormed into her home during the night. She had also lost her husband and children to a suicide bomb attack several years ago. .An entire family gone because of terrorism, obviously not the first, and certainly not the last. It's just sad, and I wonder if there is any hope for Pakistan to overcome these terrorists?

Pakistan is a failed state, McM ! It is run by the Pak Army Intel wing, the dreaded ISI , alongwith offshoots of The Taliban. The nexus between the Pak Taliban and the Army is very complicated. Pakis use the talibanistic Militants for their aims to control Afghanistan and deter India.
The case of Bin Laden hiding for five years near the Military Training Academy in Swat valley(Pakistan), before he was eliminated by US , is proof of this nexus.

King Durk the Awesome:
we have extremists too... squawk!
And those too should be dispatched. The only problem is that it would wipe out most of the federal government in the process.

The answer to the question posed is yes, Pakistan will overcome this.

It's Pakistan we're talking about here.

The news is terrible, but Pakistan has been through a lot in its 65 year history - the best is yet to come.

Borduriaa - which state are you from?
