Statement on the Peace Agreement between Osiris and Gatesville
The North Pacific wishes to express our solidarity with and support of the Kemetic Republic of Osiris in the days following the peace agreement that has been reached between Osiris and the occupying forces of Gatesville.
We are glad to see a resolution to this conflict and we offer our continued support to the Kemetic Republic in the restoration of native rule to the region. Osiris has faced the challenging task of rebuilding before, and we are confident it will once again unite to work to create a better and stronger Osiris.
As strong supporters and allies of Osiris, it would be remiss of us not to relay our concerns at the terms of the peace agreement; we believe that it is Gatesville who profit most from this agreement, and fear they retain some modicum of power and influence in Osiris, particularly over its sovereign right to conduct its foreign affairs as it sees fit.
However, The North Pacific strongly believes in the right of the native government of Osiris to regional self determination and will continue to support and defend that right. As such, we lay these concerns aside in support of the legitimate government of Osiris, as it is our wish to see the conflict ended and peace restored in the region.
The North Pacific extends its hand of friendship and support to Osiris in the rebuilding process that will follow in the months ahead. The North Pacific is available to assist our friends in Osiris further, at the request of your legitimate government.
