r3n, shall I interpret your post as a motion to vote, regardless of comments made after it?
It probably could be made clearer, but what it means is the position is treated as vacant in the implementation of the clause not vacant in general.Sanctaria:"3. In implementing the previous clause, if an officeholder has a conflict of interest in the case at hand, the respective office will be treated as vacant."
I have a problem with this. For how long is the office considered vacant? I ask because when the Vice Delegate is acting Delegate he vacates his office temporarily too. It seems a little over the top for the offices of Delegate and Vice Delegate to be legally considered vacant just to appoint a THO.
No, please extend the formal debate until I have time to read the comments and respond properly. Let's say till Sunday for now.Crushing Our Enemies:r3n, shall I interpret your post as a motion to vote, regardless of comments made after it?
I know what it means and I'm not convinced that it does since the Security Council law says in "any period" in which the Vice Delegate is acting Delegate, the office of Vice Delegate is vacant.Chasmanthe:It probably could be made clearer, but what it means is the position is treated as vacant in the implementation of the clause not vacant in general.Sanctaria:"3.
